  • WE HIT TURBULENCEEEE. DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH.

  • ...cool 3 second blip of owl city.....

  • I HATE FLYING AND TURBULANCE BUT LOVE THE FEELING WHEN YOUR NEAR YOUR DESTINATION

  • Impressive, but nothing really dramatic.

I can see you were flying beneath & beside the anvil of a cell, and commonly there are down & updrafts in that area. But i`m quite sure, the crew did a good job avoiding the worst.

    Happy landings.

  • arent they supposed to fly around storms?

  • whats the song at the start?

  • All i see is a regular flight.... probably because my dad is a pilot.

  • I'm still waiting for the *severe* turbulence.... 2:27 seconds later.. "fucking non pilot types"

  • Your choice for a turbulence video was owl city and not flight of the Valkyries?

  • I have flown the newark approach about20-30 in a 737 (until continental started using Dash-8s) and when you see clouds you know there is going to be bad turbulance

  • @ab102798 Not really, clouds do not mean bad turbulence at all.

  • I don't like turbulence at all.

  • Just that little clip of owl city made me want to shoot my computer with my AK-47.

  • Flying over Berlin in 1942 Now that was turbulence!

  • is this Swiss air

  • @TheDqwt Did you read the Description?? It is Jet2.

  • all i have to say is fuck turbulence. might as well fall out of the sky.

  • @samater16 what a stupid an pointless comment..

  • @pedromorgan99 If you think it's stupid, then why don't you suck my dick cockmongler.

  • @samater16 Yer mama, faggot.

  • @madisonelectronic you mad bro?

  • Not severe at all.

  • If your scared of turbulance you just have to close your eyes and imagine your a passenger in the back seat of a car on a bumpy road....thats the best thing you can do until the turbulance stops.

  • Makes me sick. This would've been horrific for me.

  • there has to be a way to avoid turbulence

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe trains

  • @lexotaniscool I was thinking much higher altittudes like 80,000ft plus clouds dont go that high

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe actually there is . as far as i know there is 2 ways

1- Either the captain avoid the heavy clouds .

2- the wings produces left to the aircraft . also they work like a suspension . when a turbulence Occur you see the wings move up and down . that's a way to reduce a bumpy flight

BTW : I like turbulence lol

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe don't fly

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe Besides flying low to the ground and wasting all your fuel and airspeed and greatly increasing travel time, no.

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe Not really, its hard to predict with any precision, and even if you can predict it, its not worth the time or fuel for them to avoid it usually. Its really not dangerous, just a nuisance for some.

  • not if you want to be on time!

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe

as a commercial pilot all i can tell you is that the only way to avoid turbulence is to have a flexible sched. and learn how to read basic aviation weather and pilot reports (way easier than you'd think,) & only flying on days you know it'll be smooth. not trying to be an ass i've never met a pilot that likes turbulence, it's annoying. if it helps, think about flying in the 40's when there was no flex in the wing. that woulda felt like driving down a dirt road with no suspension.

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe There isn't. You can avoid clouds and stuff but high pressure air colliding against low pressure air creates wind, this is what you feel as turbelence in the air.

  • @Uygur102 im sure planes can be designed to fly higher where turbulence is minor and almost not exsistent e.g. 60000ft + yes this may seem very difficult due to the fact that there isn't a very big window between stalling and overspeeding because its so high but I'm sure techonology will do its thing and it will be the end of heavy turbulence, only problem is probably during decent upon landing where they would be unavoidable.

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe Stay on the ground.

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe yeah, dont fly...

  • @PhOeNiXpIoLe stay on the ground

  • I love turbulence because it means you are having a REAL flight

  • Was there any bumpy rides during this...if so then it is turbulence..

  • y did they put up b

the brakes what are they called did they want to slow down or go under the bad weather

  • this is like the last flight I was on, L.A. to Philly, we hit storms in Indiana. I knew that structurally, the plane wasn't even breaking a sweat, my pants however, seen better days.

  • I LIKE TURBULENCE :D Makes you feel so alive

  • @bartdereu It makes me want to shit on myself ._.

  • fuck the TUR, fuck the BUL and fuck the ENCE!

  • ughhh i hate turbulence!!!

  • you rich bastards fly to partys we poor bastard fly to funerals.

  • @datzfast we really poor bastards dont fly anywhere...

  • @HARDTSYLEMADNESSSSSS ok, i will concent i have never flow to a party or a funeral, it just sounded nice

  • @datzfast That's fine... planes scare me anyway... i'm never ever leaving ireland unless im on a boat :/

  • You wanna try that shit in a Cessna 172!

  • @VX737 152 is even worse!

  • @VX737 It's intense, I'll tell you that much

  • That was children scream

  • I LOOOVE TURBULENCE

  • severe turbulence = when 777's body flopping like a jelly sausage and lights are dimming during drops.

  • I hate turbulence! I was drinking hot tea, I was on the plane to New York. Suddenly it was turbulence and all the hot tea flew on my pants :( my friend was on the toilet when it happend, haha!

  • You call that severe turbulance? LOL Dude, when you see the wings flapping like a bird and the engines moving back and forth on their pylons and your f

eet are coming off the floor let me know.

  • Is there a second part? Where's the severe turbulence and the screaming I was supposed to listen to lol.

  • ME TO I WOULD OF SPEWED UP BYTHAT

  • This is nowhere near final approach...==

  • Sorry, this isn't severe turbulence. Like every other "severe turbulence" video on youtube, this is video is misleading

  • @KSharp320

well that is true. although there are a few that at least show the aftermath of 'Severe Turbulence'

Here is a good example. Type this in Youtube:

look what happend after strong turbulence scary

  • I wish i loved turbulance too, then it would be so much easier getting on the plane...

  • I should have taken a video of my flight going into Denver, it was soooo sketchy

  • Clouds looks so fat and fluffy outside but deep down inside, its a MONSTER. Kinda like bunnies.

  • you know, on august 1st 2010 i landed in geneva too. it wasnt a "big" plane like yours but not a small one as well, it was a Avro RJ / Bae 146. when we flew over the lake geneva, at an altitude about 400 - 600 meters over ground, the airplane suddenly turned 90° to the right and i was able to lie on the side of the airplane, while the other person on board were "screaming". that is my worst flight i ever had until today but i even wouldnt tell that a severe or heavy turbulence landing ; ) ....

  • Comment removed

  • It kind of looked and sounded rough by merely watching the video. But by seeing those thunderclouds, I can see why the ride was so rough. I have flown through many of those in my years or travel, and it is never feun for me! But thank God that airplanes are built to withstand the forces known as turbulence even though it may not feel good. Neat video!

  • haha severe turbulence in a CRJ 200 is scary fun! that plane just gets tossed around like your on a roller coaster

  • @YouReadMyMind Except if this roller coaster screws up, your fucked.

  • when I was little I wanted there to be turbulence on every flight cause it tickled me now that Im older and have seen what turbulence can do I am afraid of turbulence like hell

  • I HATE TURBULENCE

  • @SemperFiScout79 I love turbulence...when its not too bad. It goes from boring to disney land in just a few seconds :p

  • i remember my first and last flight to Majorca with spanish captain. Landing was brutal hardcore, we almost didnt make it. That plane tried to kill me, im sure=D

  • @LordCarlSagan its typical for ppl who dont fly alot that those things happen.. :P i flew over 25 times.. (im not 20 yet :P) and i never had real problems..

  • @JFreshsounds one day it comes....mhaha=D

  • @LordCarlSagan no believe me.. flying is less dangerous than driving a car..

  • @JFreshsounds You are correct, flying is the ' safest' way to travel so if any of you feel turbulence, it will be completely natural. :)

  • @RAFASS20 lol yeah :)

  • I HATE FUCKING TURBULENCE!

  • To the comment below, what if your flight is in the morning?

  • air travel is safe, however at the end of the day youre in a pressurized tube 30,000 ft in the air going 600 mph.

  • The worst thing that you can have while taking a flight is turbulence at night, with a thunderstorm.

  • not really "severe" turbulence. Moderate I would say

  • Comment removed

  • This same shit happened to me from Monterrey to Mexico City... I had to have 2 beers just to calm down...

  • wow that was scary..a lot of people tell me you't more safer in a plane than a car..while that may be true, why is everyone afraid of flying than driving?..

  • @timecop73 Experience...

  • @timecop73 People are afraid of flying because they fear the unknown, or in other words, what they don't understand. They also have no control over their circumstances as a passenger in the back of the cabin with no idea what is going on in the cockpit, so a feeling of helplessness doesn't help matters.

  • @craigjhr well said

  • @timecop73 its just an instinctive fear of flying, the body is in more of an unfamiliar position than with driving. Flying is much safer, believe me.

  • why were the spoilers deployed , is that for a fast descent ?

  • @shittywilly Spoilers are used to slow down the airplane both on the ground and in the air. Thats why they're also referred to as speed brakes. Their used quite frequently on smaller planes that don't have automatic VNAV descent.

  • @hghpandaman

thank you sir , good to know , i thought they were used for messing the airflow above the wings to reduce lift to favor descent

  • @shittywilly The Pilots were trying to slow down the airplane to the aircraft's maneuvering speed, in this case because of the turbulence.

  • @TehB0ss i'v never seen the spoilers being deployed in a 777 up in the air..would it be required sometimes even for a 777?..

  • @shittywilly the pilots were black and drunk and ruined everything.

  • funny enough, there are psychiatric lecture-type answers videos for people with flying enxiety. the airplane BERELY MOVES in your video. You need to see a doctor on this matter)))))))

  • "Severe turbulence" come on....

Actually i like flying with people like you, on a seasoned NATL route youll probably be the only one screaming, if you ever hit some moderate turbulence.

Then we will all have a giggle over youre reaction.

  • Hear hear! I have to take valium before I board a plane and do not sleep for three nights in a row dreading the impending flight!

  • Turbulence is the only time when you can sit with your eyes closed and really feel the plane's speed

  • Fuck owl city. Anyone that likes owl city shouldnt be allowed to live.

  • its not the turbulance u gotta look out for its the fall 3 thousand feet outa the air situations lmao

  • Nice autotune.

  • dove sarebbe la turbolenza????? ma...

  • that what happened to me but worse we wherein clouds for 55 minutes and crying shouting i was scared but your kind of interfering with the cockpit

  • @florentlondon -how was he interfering with the cockpit? i was just a bit confused with your comment

  • @planesareawsome

it looses concentration why don't you search it interfering with cockpit there might be something normally you not allowed to record unless your really high

don't listen to people recording takeoff you never no what can happen i will never dare my self

  • @florentlondon -there are some things that may interfere with the radio a LITTLE bit, but no regular old vidoe camera would make you veer off the runway then suddenly blow up. you might piss off the flight attendece though lol

  • Yeah you would definitely feel that right behind the wing. Scary, but not so bad.

  • I would seriously die.

I was on a plane 2 months ago with my bro and his gf, the turbulence was almost as bad as this one, i was seriously crying, if my bros gf wasnt there to talk to me and hold my had i woulve had a heartt attack. but im going on a plane by myself in 2 days.

  • O no not another one. This is NOT turbulence. So don't put in your title.

  • Hahahaha think that is turbulence come for a ride with me in my cessna 152 and land at Manchester INTL after a boeing 747 then you will understand how bad turbulence can be

  • im scared of flying so i combat this yb watching more of these videos haha

  • In light turbulence you can usually avoid spilling the coffee. In moderate turbulence, the coffee will slosh around a lot and will spill out quite frequently. In severe turbulence, the entire cup of coffee ends up on you with a very brief loss of control of the aircraft. And extreme turbulence…well, you've got more to worry about than some stupid cup of coffee.

  • @betsiej best comment

  • @betsiej coffee sucks:(

  • I am learning to fly, i have flown in a storm before at 2,000ft and it dosent scare me as the plane & pilots are trained for this type of stuff.. also if the storm is as bad as it looks + feels pilots would abort and climb or new HDG for a different airport,

I have found it quite fun, like on a 777 over iceland from heathrow it was bumpy i mean the wings were shakeing at FL350 but didnt bother me lol

  • I feel fear in turbulence,always

  • It doesn't help when people yelp or scream. To me that is the worst.

  • i dont want to be waiperaised or fall from the 10 000meters from the air into the ground. Before i wasent scared at all flying, then i read about the air france crash last year 1. jun, now im scared like shit

  • I hope valium will work 7 hours...

  • i was on a flight this morning from JFK to the dominican republic (horrible weather conditions in both places), and we were flying smoothly through our decent when out of nowehere there was a huge "up0 drift" of air and the plane literally almost fell over. we were in a huge cloud in the middle of a thunder storm lol. i want to be a pilot in the future so this was a lesson and i think i did well, i stayed calm while everyone else prayed and screamed. scary as shit though.

  • I'm glad a saw this ill never fly to Switzerland

  • Just bumps going through clouds....not even close to severe..check out the Kuwait Airways video if you want to see severe.

  • @MsBocaBabe link?

  • lol that's not severe turbulence.....you would not be holding the camera if it was.

  • little hairs on my arms just stood up while i watched this video lol i had some bad experiences with turbulence ...i lost 3lbs on my flight from Europe to USA ...just by being anxious, stressed out , scared and sweating....LOL

  • I normally stay up all night before getting on a plane then take sleep meds. Got me through three hours of turbulence into Cancun.

  • Good turbulences are better than any roallercoaster. I personally love flying ;)

  • About 4 years ago, I was on a flight to Phoenix and I remember the plane going through major turbulence. When it happened, the plane went into this huge drop and it literally felt like it was going down. There was even this kid sitting in front of me who's hat flew onto my lap. I also remember some bimbo lady who never put on her seat belt and when it went into turbulence, she hit her head on the ceiling and was taken out on a stretcher when we landed.

Now I am afraid of flying in planes.

  • @huss171 well no offense but only COMPLETE idiots think your safer in a car than a plane. Car crashes happen every 5 seconds in the us alone so think about that before you insult flying.

  • I may sound crazy, but I LOVE turbulence. I just imagine either being on a roller coaster or going off roading in my truck.

  • @TheGizmo4382 I agree, it makes the flight much more interesting :P

  • I absolutely hate it. Wish I didn't. If I feel a slight bump, I flip.

  • @stevedrums

    HAHA!!!!!! ME TOO!!!!

  • planes are made to withstand these things, no big deal

  • The feeling in airplane is horrible in turbulence when the plane takes small freefalls, feels like you're lifting up of the seat. Feels hideous on stomack.

  • ohh shit i seriously hate flying guys :S

  • i have to take vallium when i fly...never works enough for me....any bump and i start screaming.

  • that is really nothing, i had a turbulence on AA flight where we were in the turbulence for like 45 minutes, and when we were clear we were all like wow how did plane get so smooth. we even forget what a normal ride is

  • The worst turbulence my uncle has ever been in was Delta Airlines flight 191. This is nothing!!!!

  • That really was not that bad!...It can get worse!

  • i smiled so big when i heard hello seattle

  • i like turbulence its feel nice on the stomic!!! hihii its funny

  • f\/ck off

  • ok i liked the song.. forget those butt lickers.

  • that song at the beginning is a piece of horse shit

  • When I was younger I loved turbulence, now that I'm older and have watched to many of those 'Mayday' episodes on the History Channel, I feel nervous when a plane hits turbulence

  • What a faggot ass song at the beginning

  • wow...rain day!

  • thats called light to moderate chop, severe turbulence makes people scream like theyre dying.

  • @Ignantredneck

Not only the screams dude, the wing shakes as hell in severe turbulence, and you feel in your ass and stomach how the plane looses altitude and then up again. In 1998 I passed through a huge thunderstorm in Los Andes ( from Argentina to Chile) in a 737-200. Severe turbulence caused by thunderstorm and strong winds, pilot himself said 'I never experienced something like this'

I thought we were going to die, but I still love flying.

  • Why do u like turbulence, because it just stresses me out

  • another great vid. i think one of the best views on the aircraft. Apart from the flight deck..

  • If that was severe turbulence you wouldn't have still been holding the camera!!!! Trust me!

  • Good video!! What is the name of the song a the begining?

  • Nope, it's "Hello Seattle" - Owl city.

    FAGGOT

  • Horrible song whatever it is!

  • Comment removed

  • that probably wasn't why...

  • Comment removed

  • there is no need to worrie about turbilence sevral planes have expreanst it!! have u heard of turbulance causeing a crash?

  • Yeah, the Air France crash in the Atlantic.

  • Comment removed

  • before i get on aplane i drink 4 beers....

  • @andreamoscova 4 or 12. Maybe add a little xanex to the equation. Then I dont really care where we fly or what happens. Aerophobia is terrible. I have panic attacks if I dont drink copious amounts of alcohol.

  • @andreamoscova You must spend the whole flight in the can pissing!

  • @andreamoscova I plan to get wasted before my next flight. My first time on an airplane 6 years ago I flew to Prague via Montreal, We had such bad turbulence the veteran traveler I was with even said they hadn't had turbulence like that in their life. Alcohol is your friend when it comes to flying. :)

  • @andreamoscova ah but have too much your flight will be cut short lol

  • @andreamoscova Exactly what I've been doing!

  • when we were on easy jet on wed 21st oct we were landing at newcastle and he said he would miss out all the bad weather in 5 mins time all of the old people were sitting at the front and the
