Not to mention, Wolfen which used real wolves as did Blood & Chocolate, and Twilight doesn't even give u real wolves like Wolfen and Blood & Chocolate do. More CGI crap in Twilight. I like the real thing, except I think it's better not to force the animal to perform for the camera, they should just let it pose naturally and do as it pleases unless it's a tamed animal that just plain loves to do stuff for the camera on its own. In the 60s & 70s & early 80s they'd provoke the poor animals.
If you like your killer animal movies w/ the real thing in it you may want to see: Day of the Animals, Sssssss, Grizzly (1977), Orca the Killer Whale, Monkey Shines, Cat People (the one in color, not the b/w one), The Wild Beasts (1984?), and numerous others I cannot name. All of the animals are real in these films. Due to the danger of using animals & animal rights groups, we've switched to a culture almost entirely of CGI hell.
Now for those of who are wondering if that's a real black mamba, yes it is. They used a real one for the filming and had to keep track of where it went w/ snake handlers standing by. However, I'm sure the snake that went up his pants leg was a harmless one. They also used a real western diamondback rattlesnake in Halloween III: Season of the Witch. They don't use animals like that anymore, but I can't believe they had pet shops like that back then, u have to watch what u buy!
I was 16 when I saw this at the drive with another little chiller called THE CHILDREN.. It was slow very entertaining all the way down to Kinksi and Mamba showdown! Klaus Kinski! Oliver Reed! Sterling Hayden Michael Gough Susan George Nichol Williamson! You can't go wrong!!! Thanks for uploading this!
This was a great movie, I saw it when I was younger. Took the long way home that night, away from the woods, and I lived in Germany at the time. LMBAO!
What were Oliver Reed and Sterling Hayden doing in this sleaze? Kinsky proudly acted in anything that would pay him, but the other two were way too talented to be in this.
holy crap this movie was awesome it showed one of the best snakes to ever make a movie about. they need to make a reemake of it same story too and actually use real mambas again
That's one horny snake 6:39 No wonder when it bites it gives you a screaming orgasm 3:07
I read that Ollie and Klaus Kinski despised each other at first sight. As a prank, Ollie shook Kinski's trailer (while he was inside lol) and screamed, "You Nazi bastard!" That made me love him just a little bit more.
Yes, the Black Mamba is a very dangerously poisonous snake, and I remember this movie shortly after it came out. Susan George is also in the 1974 movie DIRTY MARY CRAZY LARRY.

Could provide the main titles and end titles of the movie please? I remember loving the music. It was a bit like Ron Goodwins "Frenzy" (Hitchcock)

What a death scene!! And in sexy boots!

@betthatsgood . it would have been even more horrific if she had died with her eyes wide open, but very good acting by susan as she gradually dies.
