@TheDestinationSound in the moment you can't, you can only use the samples already provided in the machine. To hear them, check out my video /watch?v=mXucGzioVXM and of course the lovely analog OSCs. There are rumors that it could be made possible in the future though!

kool demo dave smith instruments take a while to grasp I got a couple & only now understanding their real potential , I looked at roger linns demo for this awesome machine & it looks like it would take a while to understand its true potential

@klonersubway Thanks! with the Tempest you'll get some nice results pretty quickly, but it doesn't get boring over time. There are still new things to discover and the DSI team develops updates at serious speed :)

Things to consider? I think you should reconsider yourself because the sound you're making with that thing is pretty crap. It helps people that are considering not to buy it. I think you can let this baby kick some ass but you can't.

The only thing I wish the Tempest had was a built in reverb. Appart from that its my dream machine.

@aikighost yeah, I thought about that too, but when using the adsr-wave you can get quite near a reverb I find! thanks for watching!

Will the current OS allow you to sequence multiple external synths? I want to be able to sequence my Moog Slim Phatty and Super nova with the tempest.

@ttaralli Well, I honestly haven't tried it yet, but the current OS doesn't support MIDI note-to-pad and pad-to-note, so I'm afraid it wouldn't work in the moment! Moreover there's only one MIDI out, so even if you split that, I don't really see how to distinguish between different devices! Once the USB port is available (hopefully updated soon) it could be a little easier to do such a thing via you PC! Sorry I couldn't really help, I'll get back to you if I figure out something!

@TheVincentWagner Sound great. Im currently using an octatrack and a korg ER1 together and it sounds great. In the new year I plan on replacing the ER1 with a tempest. I cant wait :)
