@givemeajackson uh no, li doesnt suck, i was just saying that because everyone thinks that dragonforce uses pre-recorded shit but how can u use something thats pre-recorded or generate notes and make it sound fast and like their music, this just goes to show that it just takes skill to play fast, and a bit of creativity, and an actual guitar to record stuff.

The only Ibanez RG's I play are the ones Made In Japan (MIJ). The MIJs are so much better constructed. The RGR321EX is made in Indonesia. I have an RG470 MIJ in 2000 and it is still an awesome guitar over a decade later! I tried an RG270 & RG370 in the shop but the RG470 MIJ was King! I also have an Ibanez Prestige RG1570 MIJ in 2009 - an awesome guitar. The Chinese, Korean & Indonesian Ibanezs look good, but the Japanese just construct them better - it's worth paying the extra for an MIJ.

@whatthebollocks Not if you want killer sustain. I got rid of my Jackie DK2M because the tremolo killed it for me. Hence why Im on the hunt for something like this RG321. Although I do have a JS1200 for when I want to dive one or make some dogs go crazy. Maybe its the longer scaler that killed the trem for me. As on my JS1200 Its nowhere near as bad as the Jackson..

@BigBadBlues85 by scaler, i am guessing you mean neck length, but my RG370DX has awesome sustain, and, when i face the amp with the guitar, i get feedback every single time, with sustain for hours if you want. it might just be the combination of wood taken from a certain part of the trre, you know? but whatever

@whatthebollocks Sorry man typo. Yeah the neck scale. I mean a nice natural sustain when you can hold a note for ages and it goes and goes, Even unplugged. And Ive certainly noticed on a floating bridge setup sustain is a touch sucky compared to a hard tail. Ive noticed my Fender Strats (both floating vintage style tremolos) sustain longer than my JS1200 and from what I can see its just down to there being more metal on wood on the strats. Also like you said different parts of the tree.

@BigBadBlues85 yea, my RG370DX doesn't get like a "holy fucking shit! look at that sustain!" kinda thing but it does almost as well as my fixed bridge guitar, (ibanez). but it is what it is and with that kind of guitar you're usually not holding a note for more than 4 - 6 beats. (at least in megadeth or metallica you're not) lol.
