Recently, Texas passed tort reform and many doctors have returned to practice obstetrics especially in the high risk areas. Thank goodness we now have protection from the bottom fish ambulance chasers like Edward's who use junk science and demagoguery on pliable juries to make millions. It's interesting how Democrats constantly rail about evil profits of BIG business and yet this one man big business trumps nearly all of them. We need more doctors than ambulance chasers.

Please read John Edward's book "Four Trials" and see if you feel the same. Edwards defended regular people who were tragically wronged and had no voice. The two doctors mentioned made tragic mistakes that changed the lives of these people.

Tort reform is about correcting the obscene profits of bogus cases and slip and slide lawyers. This, just like pilfering in stores drives up the costs for all of us. This doesn't stop legitimate cases. I repeat, In Texas we needed more doctors that could take care of high risk cases than bottom fish lawyers standing over their shoulders ready to serve them papers. Multi-million dollar lawsuit for hot coffee in a women's lap...RIDICULOUS...just people and lawyers stealing from the system....
