  • This truck smokes a stock raptor. We cracked the frame on two stock raptor b4 getting one of the prerunners. Its workth the money a baja truck is easy 400k so 89k with sponsorship is worth it. Pistol Pete ( youtube him) builds our baja lights and was right about a stock raptor so blackcell011 you really dont know what you are talking about. It would cost you 80gs to get where this truck is with a stock raptor. This truck is for real racer teams not joe blow trying to look cool on the streets

  • 100k ? what kind of warranty? warranty time,,,,,,

  • this is $100k of pure ugly.

  • Whatever happened to this truck? havent seen it

  • OMG...dude...100k $.....i literally shit my pants.

  • @ComedyPuff You mean Fox shocks. And no... rolling a vehicle is all driver error, I dont care how offroad capable the truck is.

  • not worth 100 grand. for that price you can make a sick trophy truck able to race baja and other comps... this truck cannot race, it needs a lot more. BUT i still want a RAPTOR !!!

  • @zamamattiolo Ehem... it did race... and won third... Baha 1000

  • They broke the pass side leaf spring perch and part of the leaf spring itself. They also changed the driveshaft but that was just a precautionary measure. They had an overheating issue but discovered that the cooling fans had not been plugged back in after they did some welding to fix the leaf spring perch. They also ran the whole thing in 2wd but got stuck in a deep soot pit where alot of other trucks ended up getting stuck as well. good performance i know.

  • It finished using some bits from the stock Raptor like the transmission, brakes, axles, and frame

  • 11 inches of travel HAHAHAHAHAHA Real prerunners try 30in. SVT raptor was a joke. the FR XT is what they should have always been.

  • ford really went all out on the raptor xt i would do anything for this truck:)

  • 100 grand but you and 49 others will be the only ones able to say i have this bad ass truck and it will be a beautiful rare collectors car one day

  • F*ck Ford

  • fuck ford...F.O.R.D stands for F*cked ON RACE DAY

  • wow i built my tacoma way better then this and it will kill it in the dezert for a quarter of the price.... 11.5" of travel hahah

  • @blackhawk250 this has 15in of travel haha to you sir

  • @MrMustang210 yeah in the rear...

  • my next truck.... !!!!

  • For everything it has on it, shit I would give 100k for it.... if only i had 100k

  • I gotta have it!!!!!!!

  • haha. aluminum blocks. that is all.

  • I think this is the only truck id drive

  • Can u disconnect the sway bar in the front??

  • @carguy211 I'm not sure. But if you can spend the $100k to buy it, I'm sure you can afford a disconnecting anti-sway bar for it too. lol

  • ya, its nice, but power wagon could eat it for breakfast

  • @erevofreak96 it just depends what you want to use it for the raptor will leave the power wagon in the dust. but the power wagon can also tow and crawl over things so much better.

  • 11 people drive dodge

  • I just jizzed a little bit

  • i found the vid look up Ford Raptor"Born in Baja" The Build sneak preview FR raptor XT not the same as the raptor R

  • i can find the vid anymore and i ment XT so no nerd comments

  • this truck is not at all what frod raced . i own a raptor everything looks the same but with more travel with sharper tierod angles .. there's a video of them building the raptor XR . i think its called raptor XR build up . clearly they use steel lower A arms not aluminium

  • lol take that 100,000 and shove it up your ass aint worth it to me

  • @bwright009 an entry level race truck for $100000? Worth every penny if you race it and make $50000 a race...

  • other than tires and more horsepower, I didn't really see a difference...at least not 100K difference.

  • @Drummmerman1 um full rollcage, more travel, front locking diff, race ready

  • @Drummmerman1 yeah ford likes to take your money

  • this is probly the most put together truck on the market right now but i would take the power wagon over it

  • are they going to make a Supercrew on the Raptor instead of SVT

  • Fuck i should of waited to buy the FR Raptor instead of the 6.2l raptor

  • people who have the money to buy this truck probably wont even let it touch dirt like its made 2...

  • @bigryan991 the new 2010 version is 47,000. 562 hp on my buddies and we actually use it despite living in a suburban area. I'm a prep, my buddies a fat country man, and my other friend is a b-ball arab. we are a weird bunch but when we buy something, we use it correctly. Very few people do that anymore. It's sad really.

  • Yeah. It will cost a third the price and be half the truck. Ford knows what they are doing. Besides if you get it like this from the factory, it is covered under factory warranty. That is a lot of work to modify anyway, and, a lot of time without your truck while it is being modified.

  • 100 fuckin grand? where the shit did they pull that number from? buy the base model and just upgrade yourself, cost a third of that

  • @blackcell011 Actually no. Roll Cage, Light Bar, Tire Rack, better tires, rims, suspension travel upgrade, and more hp and torque. $55,000 New. For the rest thats a good price. lol

  • @blackcell011 What part of limited edition didn't you understand? You're paying to be able to say it's rare.

  • @blackcell011 nope, not at all.. about what 48k to buy a stock raptor today? then after you do everything to it it still wouldnt be the 1 in 50 truck your buying from ford so seriously if your spending that much money anyways why not pay a little more and get it all immedietly instead of waiting for a while to get it out of the shop and be like oh crap forgot this and put it back in the shop?

  • What a waste. You could just get a base model and spend a fraction of the 100K on the truck and make it even more advanced than this "Raptor" F150.

  • that take all the pleasure out from the real pre-runner. To take your normal truck and transform it into a prerunner is the most awesome thing you can do, not buy it already mounted.

  • fuck dude thats even more awsome than the regular raptor but its to expensive

they need to come out with more stuff that has the 500hp 6.2 liter

  • those graphics are sick

  • FUCK CHEVY!!! FORD IS DOMINATING IN PERFORMANCE!!! if you haven't noticed The Shelby Cobras are dominating chevy from the FACTORY! The Mustang GT will have 412 hp from the factory and last but certainly not the least, the RAPTOR IS A BEAST!!!!! (from the factory)!! Suck on it big bow-tie ladies...

  • Sucks that none of them will come with a VIN number whats the point of having a prerunner if you can't drive it on the road.

  • what thats bullshit a guy just pulled up to my work with one the other day he had plates inspection registration all that

  • @bobwatters

What state was it registered in.

  • Texas

  • you sure it was one of these and not a regular one? Cause I'm pretty sure it's not sold with a vin number

  • Love this truck!!! It's Bad Ass!! Chevys are ugly and Dodges fall apart!

  • Ford finally made a great truck!!

real pre-runner go as the the same speed as Unlimited Trophy Trucks, around 135mph in the desert

Things you'll need if you're going to buy one, a better wheel base...making the travel go up to 20in in travel, and back 40 or so....the full bed and engine cage if you're going to roll over and a forged read end

even tho you think you're going to spend a lot in it

ask Currie Rear end to give you a price for the differential, ring pinion, and gears

    ;)

  • i like the decal on the back ALOT better

  • first 5 mill. for a company like ford is nothing, second u know how much it costs to make one of those. They wont be making more than1.5 mill. of that car

  • Like shit i want a SVT Raptor

  • I wonder if that 6.2L is an OHC or OHV motor. I doubt it's OHV because Ford has veered off from old pushrod motors, but the heads didn't look big enough to be a DOHC engine. Maybe a SOHC?

  • Ford has announced the official power ratings for the upcoming 6.2-liter V-8 version: 411 hp and 434 lbs.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful half-ton pickup.

The two-valve single-overhead cam (SOHC) large displacement 6.2-liter V-8 features two spark plugs per cylinder, a cast-iron engine block and aluminum cylinder heads. It also features a cast-iron crankshaft, forged steel connecting rods and cast-aluminum pistons.

  • HAHAHAHA, I kept telling those chevy boys that ford could make a more powerful engine than them using more displacement...and that's with one cam per head and only a 2V! Just think if it was DOHC with 4V per cylinder. It would probably be well over 500hp

  • the tuffest part of a tundra is the chick driving it.

  • @304teddy

Yeah, my dads girlfriend has one, they f-ing sucks screw Toyota!

  • @304teddy said the the redneck

  • @MandatoryFurball ill take a redneck anyday over a ricerfag.

  • @304teddy hahahahah good one

  • Reminder, GM's 6.2L has been out since 2006. Its specs are 403 HP and 425 Lbs-ft of torque. If thats the best you guys can come up with in 2010, well then, next year when our entire fleet of trucks gets a re-model, not only will our 6.2L be better, but we are placing a diesel engine in our half-tons, then we will see who has the most powerful half-ton trucks. May the best car win.

  • @generalmotors2009, you probably know the light duty gm and ford trucks will not have a diesel at least anytime soon, the idea was scrapped in 2009 by both. For 2011, Ford 1/2 tons will have a coyote 5.0 or the direct inject 3.5 v6, exception being the 6.2 raptor.GMs still have the old tech pushrod gas v8 which will be bumped up a couple horses. And no, 411 hp from the stock raptor is not the best they can do. It is on the conservative side untill GM increases the rating on their 6.0 and 6.2.

  • @tritonvee10 exactly! Heck, even that little 3.5 is making 400/400 STOCK! (for the truck)

  • OK Gubberment Motor's

  • its "government motors" just so you know :)

  • They may have had one but it wasn't in anything until recently. BUILT FORD TOUGH!!!!

  • maby but it is still a chevy sooo... :S

  • did u miss the 500hp strait from the factory part in the xt? thought so. :)

  • @GeneralMotors2009 if you look at the history of how Ford sets up the tune files for their big engines...you will notice that a simple tune (example: 3v 5.4 Triton...gets an extra 40 ft/lbs with just a tune) it will make way more power. Fastlane Inc of Houston has a few of those new 6.2 Ford engines and they managed to get around 500 HP at 7000 rpm with a few modifications...no boost. My 2005 F150 makes 372 hp and 434 tq at the flywheel..heads and cams..no boost. F150 = best 1/2 ton truck!

  • @GeneralMotors2009 LLOLOL I can only laugh at this. Go check out some of the Eco-Boost Torture Test videos. Check out the one where the 3.5L V6 SMOKES the Silverado with the 5.3L....... Ford only tested vehicles that GM would give them.. wasn't Ford's choice of what they got to test against.

  • I would never pay 100 grand and go off roading, unless i won the lottery then i wouldnt mind

  • They're only making 50, Genius, Niche sales something Ford Never used to do, Bravo Ford, keep it up.

Better yet, you're a sharp guy build one yourself.

They won't have any trouble selling out.

Like it or not I'm here to Wave the Blue Oval, and their Star is Rising.

  • all of them will be bought!!ford makes better trucks, and the mustang is better than the SLOMARO!!ford wins again!!

  • that truck has the same engine as the corvette thats why its the fastest truck in the world i love it when ford and chevy work together

  • this is in no way have anything to do with chevy's 6.2...the both are the same size motor.but thats were it ends ,,its common for car companies to have the same c.i.d's ,,ford and chevy both had 427's-both had 302's .ford , caddy and A M C all had 390's .ford and caddy 429's,ford and packard both had 352's , studebaker and ford-289's and i think rambler and chevy both had 327's --chevy , olds buick, pontiac& ford all had 400's .but all of these motors mentioned differ completley

  • Just when I thought Hummer was FN stupid Ford ups the antie

  • $100,000 and we're still paying for cheap plastics......C'mon Ford you can do better.

  • im getting an audi for 100k instead of this...cmawn now

  • By the time you bought, registered, and insured that vehicle, you wouldn't even want to drive it through a puddle.

  • EPIC FAIL!

  • the ford harley davison edition is about $100 000 and i've seen may of them but for a price like this i'm sure you could buy a stock one and make your own monster truck off road machine for less alot less

  • 100k 4 a truck lol

  • fuck that, 100k i would get a nice used Ferrari F430

  • show me a used f430 , maybe a 360 never a f430

  • give it a couple of years, it will.

  • The truck will get down to

  • They could have at least give it a manual gearbox.

  • hmmm

with 100k I could get an audi r8, or... an F-150???

  • maybe they meant 100,000 pesos or yen so it would be like $20,000 US lol

  • an Audi R8 can't compete in the Dakar rally out of the factory

  • apples and oranges =/

  • kinda stupid to put the lights on the bull bar

  • you must really like that truck to spend 100k on an F150

  • haha exactly why would you spend 100k for a truck

    for off-roading

  • @mrjost55 100k is cheap for a proven race set up that you can run in baja.

  • @jimdawg185 u can "prerun" baja but u cant race it.. its a prerunner not a baja truck its slower and less durable.. so 100k is prety expensive

  • @mrjost55 for a prerunner? thats nothing for a well built prerunner

  • @mrjost55 its better than making a 300k+ dune buggy thats illegal to drive on the streets

  • @mrjost55 Well, think about it. The Raptor R raced in the Baja1000 had more than twice that put into it, and they're selling this production version for only $100,000? And there's only 50 being made?

If I had the money, I'd buy one. Especially because there's only 50 being made.

  • @joebeckham Why would you want it? I can understand the racing teams, those guys make money off of the sponsors, but this is just dumb for a regular consumer to purchase.

  • @mrjost55 dude its a trophy truck.its worth it.

  • u must love collegehumor

  • I actually don't... u can check my subscriptions
