There is a girl i really like, I want to give her a painting as a present for her birthday..Well i havent asked her out..hope this works Lol :)

  • Wonderful Abstract painting with vibrant colours, I love it, and I love Acrylic!

  • what medium did you use at very beggining to do the circles ?

  • Nice...

When u sprayed water or dripping paint i was highly disappointed but later when u painted more, it was fine.

    Thanks for sharing,

  • Wow i love this painting! im trying to do abstract myself for the first time...could you tell me what kind of paints you used...i mean brand names???

  • @MegaOriginalboy thank you! I honestly don't remember what I used in this painting, I just know I used acrylic. I almost always use artist quality paints...currently I like Liquitex and Golden.

  • ciao io sono un artista di ischia vedi il mio filmato "antonio Mazza arte isola d'ischia" we have something togheter ciao

  • Amazing! I paint myself but always wondered, does it matter if you paint the sides? :)

  • @RetroLoverGirl I think it looks better if you paint the sides, but you don't have to.

  • Loved your painting :)

  • When you started spraying the water I was like "noooooo!! You're ruining it" after you fnished all the spraying and started redrawing and touching up I finally understood why you used the blurring paint effect. =) I love the final work =D

  • amazing :) i tried this and still going :) painting is drying as we speak :) thnks m8 :)

  • Don't know why.. but I feel like such a wreck after watching this :| Then n the end I felt like those circles are about to get me :| eh?

  • Inspiration

  • Inspiration.

  • Inspiration.

  • @panda1017 I'm dipping in multiple times, the video goes too fast to show it. To all the people that asked about the beginning circles, I'm using a piece of plastic bag (torn up) to paint with.

  • how do you keep your paint brush loaded enough to make such complete, solid circles without dipping in more paint? or are you dipping multiple times and i can't tell because of the speed?

  • my kinder-garden class mates could do something similar... really..why do people call this art? no offense...

  • @adix64 Saying no offense doesnt make your statement less offensive.

  • See i want a store that doesn't have my everyday teenage bull-crap with a skateboard and three triangles on it but rather things of beauty like this to put around me room, give myself some life and reality

  • What are you using in the beginning to make the blue circles? Is it a cut off sponge?

  • what do you use to paint the circles?

  • AWESOME! It reminds me of a Kandinsky, but it contains your own special touch. Extremely well-done. Kudos.

  • "Wow. This is such a cool video. I really enjoyed watch it. Great job and hope to see more cool video work like this.

Hey you should check out ART4LOVE.com i think you would really enjoy it and the canvas art and wall art.

They also give artwork to children with terminal sickness. "

  • Anyone with a couple of cases of cold beer and a slow weekend can crank this crap out.

  • @DoctorLawyerWhatever yea and its a shame a drunk needs beer to feel good, all we need is art, we dont need to impress anybody asshole

  • @jude3235 You don't impress anybody.

  • what are you using for the circles at the beginning?

  • An other interesting one

  • what kind of paint are you using?!

  • Did you paint the entire canvas black first?

  • I can make abstract art too:

    kjflkjdfkldsjkfljdkljsdkfjsd

See those random letters, I call it art, it's for sale name your price.

  • Did you do it in layers???

Also if you havn't started one then you should make an art class cuase you are pro

  • This is really good :) i like it i am going to begin to start painting soon .:)))

  • Nice work!

  • Amazing, i love this.

  • This was really really fun to watch!!! I kept thinking you'd be done and you added more and then I liked that, and you added more, and I liked that... do you have the colors and shapes planned or do you "shoot from the hip" and go with how it feels at the moment? **Very nice painting***, and thanks for sharing the process. I would really love it if you would add captioning to the video to help us understand the thought process, if applicable. :)

  • i think it could have been better without the spraying water part...

  • Congrats, I love your style, I learned some good tips. Thanks.

  • Love it :X

  • was this all done in one sitting

  • was this all done in one sitting

  • At first when you started spraying the painting with water I thought you were ruining all that work you'd just done. But then the painting started to look more real, like half eaten lollipops licked until their colors ran. Nice work, it's so odd how circles of color can make me think so much.

  • I couldnt take my eyes off this painting, i just sat here waiting to see what the finished product was going to look like. I see you taking this to the fashion world ,jewelry clothing ,shoes, sneakers, furniture can you see it dare to dream.

  • Interesting, that the background was first painted, and then overpainted almost completely. Well I just started one year ago, and my painting is totally different, but your new idea gives me some hope :-)) Still interesting, that the background almost fanished with overpainting...

  • wow really neat

  • Are you letting the paint dry before applying different colors?

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome painting... did you wait in between applying different colors? Thanks

  • I love this painting!!! Great job girl!

  • is that water in the spray bottle or water alcohol mix???

  • Oh my god PRO!

  • what are you spraying on the canvas and doesn't that ruin the painting in any way ?

  • @CanadianFreakshot just water. I made sure the previous layer was dry first.

  • @CanadianFreakshot no such thing as a ruened painting in my opinion art is art

  • simply amazing have u gone pro yet?

  • @Hochster14 thanx. I don't know if I'm a "pro" but I do sell my art at LindseyCormier.etsy.com ;)

  • @lindseycormier well if u havnt yet u should start selling them at actions

  • visit the amazing kurdish abstract artist delaweromar.ch . tt

  • what are you painting with in the begining??

  • very nice an the finish was great but i gotta say i liked it more b4 the water got sprayed on, dont get me wrong its wonderfull im just saying personaly i iked it better without the water, either way your great...!!!...good job!!!

  • do you let it dry between colors? I mean do you paint one color than let it dry, than paint another color? I love this!!!! great work!

  • Inspiring!

  • MI PIACE!!! BELLISSIMO!!!!!!!

  • Amazing Stuff.

  • At first it looks like bubbles and could be finished, you're brave putting all the spray on there, what is that you spray? I could sit and watch all day :)

  • @Selfhealer22 I'm just spraying water on the paint so it drips down :)

  • @Selfhealer22 You rhymed!!

  • Love the vid. One artist to another, I think youre awesome. I just subbed. Keep it up

  • So beautiful! I love watching this painting come together.

  • I am in awe of your painting. I found it very calming watching you paint. Fantastic!!

  • It's like watching the story of a life. @_@

First simple, pretty, and monotone (innocence) then all these 'intrusive' colors come in--just adding and adding and adding--building up to that moment when the color doesn't even follow the patterns anymore, bleeding into all the spaces, disrupting the peace. Then the systematic painting begins again. The colors are not the ones at the beginning, but they fit in and go over everything--recreating a semblance of order--until we are left with art. :)

  • @xenoslaura thank you for your interpretation :)

  • @xenoslaura great interpretation!

  • @xenoslaura That's exactly what I thought too! How the beginning was much like childhood and innocence... then little by little more and more got thrown in the mix... then the turbulence but rebuilding again and again in spite of all the storms. Just lovely.

  • @xenoslaura wow laura that was deep....you dont find a lot of deep people anymore. and you are so right. i bet this sold for a good price .

  • @xenoslaura The painting is something special(!) - and your description was equally so... Your writing was a fine compliment to a journey of the painting - very inspiring! And Lindsey - Simply stunning work!

  • I've got a goose bumps! this is totally amazing!! great work!

  • i want this tattoo'd on my nutsak

  • @mrKANYEwes sweet, just make sure you have one of those first ;)

  • why the cancas is Black at begining?

  • @santyrush I didn't want any white showing through and I like how the black comes through the other colors on top.

  • @lindseycormier

what paint did you use?can you make abstract painting out of oil paint? by the way.. your work is sooo coool.....!!!!

  • @blackspy13 acrylic paint. You could probably do the same thing with oil paint but it would come out a bit different. thanks :)

  • @blackspy13 aw..thanks for the tip..keep it up.. ;)

  • how long did the whole painting take from start to finish?

  • @vic2dao I think this one took about 2-3 hours.

  • Can someone tell me the Difference, between, Abstract art, and the art of the Nonerepressenterialists ?

    Coz I`m thick !

  • wat type of brush is the one u started with i need one i do canvases n body art but cant seem to find that brush

  • @conocdo1 I didn't use a brush in the beginning, I used a piece of a plastic bag that I crumpled up. A paper towel would work too.

  • this was hot keep up the good work

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • Thanks! No, I don't mind at all. Knock yourself out!

  • Once again i love your work. But how did you get the effect of the water streaks? Did you just get your brush wet and run it across the top of the canvas? also what brand of acrylic paints are you using?

  • To get the water streaks, I put some paint that was thinned with water on the canvas and then sprayed it with a spray-bottle I filled with water. I use both Liquitex and Golden brand paint.

  • wow..i really like your works..what kind of paint do you use?

  • thanks, for this painting I used acrylic paint.

  • That was brilliant. Beautiful. What a talent you are, having such artful expressiveness! Cheers. André ☺

  • Fantastic 5*****!!!

  • Wow! So cool!!

I like how you work on the whole painting the entire time, instead of working on one little part forever!! - One of my art teachers always drilled that into my head haha

I also like the drip technique - Makes it look, well - more natural!

Nice painting - 5 stars! - right now I'm doing art vids daily to document my art school journey, should be fun! Make some more vids!

  • simply beautifullll !!! so creative, and you make it look so simple...

  • Ahhhh....the simple complexity of the cirlce...

  • So inventive but simple. Love the painting. I've recently thrown some of my own online. If you have a second, check it out and let me know what you think? Cheers

  • Quite clever of her not to display the amount of whites and blacks used for Cyclez's first layer of blue shades, I like her water spray feature along the way but I'm not really happy with the finish, the water feature is not really given prominence. Then again, it's up to the artist so I respect that. As for me, I'd prefer the finish to be at 4:13 of this video display. Not bad, 7 out of 10 stars.

  • what kind of paints do u use??

  • @thenicks25 I don't remember exactly what brand of paints I used on this painting but I usually use Liquitex or Golden brand acrylic paints.

  • @thenicks25 Um i would guess acrylic, itäs the name of the vid!

  • a++++++

  • ur an amazing artist...what kind of paint you use?

  • you should have left it alone at 3:46 it looked way better

  • i personlly thought it looked better @ 2:13

  • 100% AGREE

  • hey .. i have a question .. y when i paint with acrlic paints it's looks transparent .. nt like ur richy color !! so do u knw how can i solve that prob.. !!! and YEAH UR paintgs are ROCKS !!!

  • I love the colors in this painting. Fabulous work! This is going to sound silly, but I can't believe you can paint abstracts in such a small space without making a ridiculous mess. You should see MY room when I paint. ;)

  • i absolutely love it.

  • That was beautiful!!!!

  • I like it!!! So thats it!

  • I THINK IT IS BEAUTIFUL !!!! dont let the haters bring ya down !!!u r very talented... keep up the great art .. fr shawna lee..

  • how bout you post a video showing how you could do better. because i bet you would FAIL

  • class

  • Nice! How much do you charge for a painting like that?

  • Right before you started spraying the water, I was like "okay she's done now, right?" But then the water came and I was like "Oh no!" but then I saw what you did on top of that and I was like WOW! The running water behind the final circles makes a big impact. It's beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! :-D

  • I love how this painting, at basically every stage you could have left it at that and it would be a finished piece. But you just kept adding on and on and on. Just kept going. That is true art, and it shows how artistic you are.

I don't really get a very heavy urge of emotions from this one other then simply happy and fun, and excitement.

  • very nice

  • wow! that is very cool! do sell your art?

  • cool

  • How long if at all do you let your layers dry before adding the next paint circle around it?

  • since this is acrylic paint the layers dried almost immediately, so i was able to paint over right away.

  • I love the spraying thing you did...

  • i just have a Q .. that spray what was it?? Oil??

  • it's water.

  • wow cool stuff did you take any photos of the blue under-painting? that was cool too

    wow

  • this is fantastic!! i really like this video, i must give that a try!!

  • GREAT JOB! I love it!

  • Nice work.

Total bs that WMG censored your music.

  • i love it!!! very inspiring. thanks for posting this :]

is this song by bjork, by any chance?

  • i just love it i would be pleased if you will allow me to use it in my wasse exams

  • Very inspiring. Thanks.

  • Ah, Conspired of circles and endless boundries, douced with the cold truth pooring endlessly and spirals twards the end..Preceived like the earth was to be flat, the all around idea is spherical and endless. Atleast that is what I make of it. But that is what abstract is isn't it? The ideas of the artist may never truly be the ideas of the on-lookers. We take what we will and pass by. Seems that is what life itself is, if this so called God is an artist, we are it's observers. =]

  • That's rather pretentious I think.

  • wow.. just amazing work you do! :D

  • Great!

  • awesome !!

  • love it!

  • Love the color, I too like to start with a black canvas. Not quite sure why i think its a subconscious thing but whatever works right. Very nice work of Art.

  • LOVE IT. I WOULS SO BUY THIS FROM YOU

  • compositionally it is pleasing and beautiful for the eye to look at. Concentric circular patterns applied in a loose manner brings feelings of comfort and relaxation. The warm palette conjures images of childhood.

WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO EXPRESS?

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

IS IT AN ABSTRACT PORTRAYAL OF SOMETHING REAL?

    IS IT ALL FROM WITHIN?

  • Your paintings are great. What are you using to paint with, it is going so fast I can't see what is in your hand?
