  • Hi, really like your work and sharing it. Now that you have had these working for a while, have you had any issues with heat or moisture getting into the cell areas? I was wondering if putting that Slygard 184 on the sides of the cells and then putting EVA over that would really nail the moisture problem down.

  • @MrRCleary Hello, I can say that I have had no moisture problems at all. The cells all still look good. Thanks

  • u could just add 1.5" initially instead of measuring for the width of the guide second. right?

  • good job.........

  • Great work ! 5*

  • hey doug, did you say the glass was $ 616.00

  • The glass only cost about $16.00, that was the price at home depot and lowes. Thanks for the question, Lonny

  • That is pretty sweet. I am making a Peak Power Tracker to charge a 12V battery and run a load for a school project with a group. We bought a similar cell kit from ebay and now we are trying to find a way to make 2 panels of 6v. Is there a video that shows you sticking the cells on the piece of wood?

  • just draw a line on the wood.

you might damage your leval cutting agenced it.

  • cool stuff man cant wait to see it all done,(5stars)...LATER FROM THE WEST COAST..

  • Can't wait to see the finished panel, and performance specs. Keep these comin!
