Some of the people on this panel has said some things that are not true. I find it interesting that people try to infer that they knew about Kool Herc in 1973 when they actually didn't. Disco Wiz would be a better source for the truth because he has no agenda. We did not call what we were doing Hip Hop, until after it was recorded on wax '79. The Herculords consisted of Herc, Coke La Rock, Timmy Tim, and Clark Kent. Look up Sha Rock and Lisa Lee, true pioneers that are not mentioned.
