  • He had an M1 Garand. The weapon that won World War 2 has now killed a shark! Cool.

  • reactions:

    :O

    ...

    :D

  • Brody: Smile You Son Of a boom!

    Chuck Norris : you C**t

  • honestly i liked this ending way better than the book.

  • @gearsfan165 Or another JAWS

  • ...And Benchley thought Spielberg was crazy for wanting to end it this way - ha!

  • 2:21 is just awesome <3 x

  • Imagine if this mother f'r missed..lol

  • Brody's twitter updatee would have been pretty epic 2:33

  • Chuck Norris called and wants to know what happened to his pet.

  • Aim for the eyes dammit, so this way you could blind it.

  • for a shark losing its eyes its nothing.

  • @Hprime123 It's "smile", not "fire". Congratulations, you just ruined an awesome line.

  • aa classic !

  • Steven Spielberg! you are a genius!

  • Jaws is a great flim trouble is great whites arent that smart and wouldnt behave the way the flim or flims portray.

  • ROY SCHIEDER-ONE OF THE GREATEST ACTORS OF ALL TIME-WHO HAS NOT GOTTEN THE RESPECT DUE TO HIM

  • Fire you son of a BOOOM! Lol!!!!

  • good fer you

  • I love this scene when Brody says, "Smile, you son of a bitch!"

  • with the gun brody is using, the tank wouldnt blow up but rather shoot like a missile.

  • @croc560 But the internal injuries sustained by JAWS would be just as devastating.

  • @HSBCHBOS yes i guess. Also the shark's name is Bruce.

  • @croc560 Either way the shark would have died. With that kind of pressure it would severely damage the sharks insides.

  • is the shark alive

  • !:53 the most tense scene ever

  • If you listen extremely closely you can actually hear him saying "Bitch" XD

  • Whoever disliked this must be a deep blue sea fan smh

  • Victory shout at 2:33

  • He was then devoured by the swarm of sharks lured to the wreckage by the blood and flesh.

  • 2:23 best movie quote ever

  • smile you son of a bitch

    jaws oh shite

  • Tell me if this idea would have been alot more smoother and easier....how about you get a random fish, inject the poison into that fish and than feed it to the shark...than BOOM, dead.....end of story

  • @TheVenturino123 u got that from "How it should have ended" right?nevermind, everyone would have thought of that..

  • @TheDevilBoi171 thats right, waited until someone noticed that LOL

  • @TheVenturino123 actually,in the "we need a bigger boat" scene,Brody was throwing chum for the shark.....when I saw it I thought it was poisoned at first..then I realized the poison might go off in the water.

  • @TheVenturino123 But what would u rather see in a move: A guy poison a fish and give to a shark. Or, a guy throw a scuba tank into the sharks mouth, grab a pole & gun, climb the mast, stab it, and blow it into a billion pieces after shouting an epic movie line.

    Now how does it sound?

  • @EricFaith1 a guy poison a fish and give to a shark...that would have been more plausible

  • @TheVenturino123 Yea, it would be more plausible but it would not make a good ending to a classic movie.

  • 1:30 what if he fell?

  • @MrMattnethan ....than he would have been dead?

  • @TheVenturino123 there would still be jaws :P

  • all jaws wants is a hug

  • look at all the flesh in JAWS mouth

  • wasnt the rifle sound a little different before? i dont know....

  • Looks like Quint came back to dislike this video.

  • JAWS turns into Open Water at the end lmao

  • movie clips = vevo = laggy start

  • 1:29 Oh shit!!! Oh shit!!!

  • Whenever I'm having a hard time sniping someone in Battlefield I always say Brody's line when I get the shot.

  • God I love this movie.... this and Jurassic Park will always be my two favorite movies of all time, they are both so flawless, they both have amazing music, and both are done by the brilliant Steven Spielberg. The one thing I don't understand is how the shark goes underwater where Brody is at 1:50 but at 1:57 (seven seconds later) he's like 200 feet away and swimming towards him... I mean, I knew he was fast but damn!!!

  • @cheezkid you know the roar at the end the shark makes that from the movie duel by steven spielberg of the truck going over the hill

  • the best way to kill a shark 2:24

  • Before Rocky fought with Apollo, before Arnold duked it out with the Predator, and before John McClane stopped the terrorists, Chief Brody held the title of most badass one liner

  • HALLELULJA ITS RAINING SHARK!

  • all that blood now attracts 10 mores sharks...

  • This is stupid, if you shoot an oxygen tank with a bullet it would just make a hole and the air would run out really fast and perhaps propel the tank itself but no explosion...Same thing with gas tank even if the gas ignite it would just be a flamethrower from burning gas exiting the leak hole, but no explosion.

  • @avcomth Its a movie dude, not science channel enjoy it for what it is.

  • The ad for PETA was on before this. Ironic.

  • Lol, you don't have an adblocker.

  • Wow i live in an island and thereforce never dared watching this movie. But now I know how to kill a shark if i have a problem, thank sir

  • 0:16 I'm about 90% sure that shark growled there 0_o

  • Wait...what happened to the barrels that were speared to it? Did they magically disappear? XD

  • hey look theres bits of quint flying through the air

  • Brody:SMILE YOU SON OF A BITCH

    Jaws:I DONT WANNA SMILE

  • didnt he have glasses?

  • @TheGOMLpRoductionz they fell off

  • the ending was sooooo much better with the original sound!!!!! its like when the orca begins to tilt to one side on this its all quite, on the VHS you heard banging and noises and you knew brody was in shit deep!!!!

  • i remember watching this as a kid and thinking THANK GOD THAT BIG ASS SHARK IS DEAD!.....until i saw the preview for jaws 2 :0

  • i love it!!

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain

    that wasn't a censor

  • *Smile, you son of a bitch! *Boom shark blows up* He starts to cheer. THEN THE MAMA COMES!

  • 0:15 for growling shark!

  • i accidently had my volume all the way up at the beggining of the video and when the shark came bursting in a literally crapped my pants!

  • @SageJiraiyaLordPain Well, it works! =P Lol

  • AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHHHHAHAHAHAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • BOOM!!!!!!

  • Oh no! Its bigger Jaws!

  • @malevolomaniac Dude, it's a SHARK. You think an M1 Garand is going to kill that beast without getting a great shot directly into the brain? Also, not sure how he was supposed to get the rifle off his shoulder and in a position to aim and fire the accurate shot necessary?

  • Still one of the Most scariest movies in history.

  • @ChainsawingRico yes it was

  • wouldn't the blood just attract more sharks?!?!?! comman sense people!!

  • Comment removed

  • @VideoMask93 So your saying that the sharks would of left cuz they found out that a human blow up one of their own, i guess that proves a point. But if it was in real life than the sharks would have been dumb enough to go and eat him and then see Brody swimming for dear life, the rest after that is obvious...

  • @MickysMuzick Not really. I meant that they first would have been attracted to the smell of the shark's blood. If they hadn't been driven out of the area by his rampant feeding earlier.

  • @VideoMask93 oh yeah, it's been a long time since a seen the movie so all the senses are being kicked in. thanks xoxo

  • What the hell else was Brody supposed to do? Plus, the sharks would have either left the area or would come and feast on the remains of THAT shark.

  • CGI shark? Meeh!! Could they do it? absolutely. But i can guarantee you the hard core Jaws fans would miss ol Bruce no different than if Jan Michael Vincent digitally replaced Hooper. Bruce has become part of the lore of Jaws. Its Rick, Roy, Robert and Bruce. That's the way it has always been. I personally like the shark as is. No he is not perfect but he just feels like a shark and that is all you need. I am not in to revisionist film making. The films' a classic as is.

  • @roquefortfiles

    what are you saying!?

the cgi sharks in Deep Blue Sea, Shark Attack and other movies look awfull, a mechanical/doll shark looks real

  • @ThatMinecraftPro What I am saying is that a practical model, live on set will always look better on film. There is something far more tangible to a physical model moving through the water than there will ever be to CGI being simulated to approximate the shark. If i were to direct Jaws today i would still have a full sized shark model made to shoot. Just more real, better for the actors to react to.

No matter how good CGI is i can tell the difference.

  • @roquefortfiles

    yhea :)

  • @ThatMinecraftPro thts why i liked the robot mako shark used in Deep Blue Sea way more than the cgi.

  • @croc560

yhea that one looked so real :)

  • @ThatMinecraftPro and i've seen a mako be4. i was like. "Wow!" i bet if Jaws was made in our time, the great white would've looked so badass like the robot mako sharks

  • "show me the tank....BLOW UP!"

  • The shark is now seagull food !!!

  • Over 30 years old, and I never get tired of seeing it:

SMILE, YOU SON OF A BITCH!

  • Comment removed

  • Lol, faises.

  • @hulkjohn2002 he does to say it, but it is hard to hear. Listen closely right when he shoots the killing shot. It's there.

  • @Artonelicofanatic2 yeah movies got kinda shite these days don't ya think? CGI counts for nothing when all the good plotlines got used up in the 70/80's

  • 2:25 das boom

  • What I like about this movie is how organic and real the shark looks. You won't get that with a remake. They will just CG the thing.

  • What do you guys think to a CGI edition to Jaws like what George Lucas did to the original Starwars as the shark looks very fake by todays standards or would that be sacriledge!

  • @1bighug I think the one of the reasons this movie has always done so well is because the shark is real, not like an actual living shark, but it has an actual presence that the actors can play off of. In CGI, the actors just have to pretend there is something there. In CGI there is always some lvl of fakery that can be noticed. Like what RebelYank said, it looks organic and real. Maybe not as real as some props today could look, but definately more so than CGI.

  • my favorite part was at 2:22

  • Now THAT was pwnage!

  • That shark need to floss more..

  • I guess the shark deserved it!

  • I just love his maniacal victory laugh.

  • Shark OWNED!!

  • Alright alright, alright come on. Show me the tank,Show me the tank blow up BANG! BANG! BANG! BLOW UP! BANG! BANG! smile you son of a B**CH! BANG! ARGHHH!

ARGHH! The shark is now seagull food and Chief Brody from under the breath mumbler is now a hero way to go!
