  • really beautiful

  • This director made Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Fantastiic director. This movie was awesome. I read that Let Me In was very good too though. It gets similar reviews as the original.

  • She's so cool

  • is she mixed with some other ethnicity? she doesn't look 100% Swedish....

  • @vietorkorean She is part Iranian too.

  • Just watched this film. Absolutely brilliant! Well acted, the story is excellent, and American film makers could take a clue from this; you don't need big budget effects and expensive actors to produce a very, very good film. If you like horror and like vampire films (real ones, not ones with "glowing" glittery pretty boys), then you will enjoy this.

  • esta chica me vueleve locoooo...es hermooosaaaaaa

  • Jag vill att vara henne! Jag alskar Line Leandersson for att hon ar javla fantastisk!

  • Lo mejor que he visto en peliculas de vampiros atìpicas !!! es una película hermosa. Y esta niña es realmente cautivante en sus expresiones, personalidad y actuación

  • Lina looks like a younger version of Joan Jett.

  • I know what it feels like being Lina. My acting class had to cancel because there weren't that many people in my group.

  • lina - "They become better friends, and...some stuff happens" interviewer - "nasty stuff?" lina - "yeah" LOL

  • Let me be her caretaker ; !!!

  • She's so cute! :)

  • They really dubbed over her voice in the film i really thought that was how she sounded

  • Like he doesn't want to fuck her tits much!!!!!!!!!!

  • @roosterutd perv

  • Thumbs Up! Sweden should get even by making a Kick Ass remake with Lina as Hit Girl!

  • @melovetorun I think Lina is too old to play Hit-girl.

  • i love sweden and the awesome films they make but man the language is horrible

  • She is so hot and I want to kiss her.

  • From all the actresses I Love only this girl...No.1 Choice for me :)

  • lina's cute

  • really underrated movie, i dont like some vampire after twilight, but this is very good. Twilight and let the right one in, are really different movies!

  • Only the movie?

  • If you are wondering why her voice sounds different here in this interview than in the movie it's because her voice was dubbed to sound less feminine.

  • She's very pretty!!

  • She is soo preeety! :"))

  • @femstar81 you analize oninion peeles

  • she is very beautiful ....!!!

  • Watched the movie today in class, and I must say that I was blown away. Not the typical "vampire" movie, that's for sure. Like an onion, The movie contains many layers that can be peeled away for analysis.

I might check out the more recent remake of the movie at some point, however, I can't say that I am in a rush to since this one did not leave me wanting for anything at the end.

Great movie, performance. and 2 thumbs up!

  • i love both movies and the book!

  • She actually looks a bit like elijah wood with her mouth and eyes. But she is 10 times more beautiful... and she´s a girl...

  • lina, du var helt utrolig bra i filmen, love you :)

  • american remake was soooo different from book and it was AWFUL, I personally love the Swedish version

  • @hehika it was a british remake more than a american remake but you are right

  • She's legal in Sweden. ZING!

  • i loveee this movie but the remake wasnt that bad. pretty kool actually. awesome actors.

  • "Let me in" is not a remake! It's its own film based off the original novel, if you guys would shut up and actually watch "Let me in" you would see that it's actually different and better. I mean its not that much better, but it is a little better. And I'm a huge fan of let the right one in, but I'm not a stubborn moron, I can face the fact that the new american film is different and actually better, everyone just stop saying how you hate americans remaking everything, its the other way around

  • @aflockofmusic2

You've got to be kidding. I highly doubt you never even read the book. "Let the right one in" made a lot of changes from the book, both in dialouge and actions. One example is when Eli ate candy and then threw up. This never happened in the book. And and guess what? "Let me in" copied every single one of those changes. On the other hand, "Let me in" took nothing from the book that "Let the right on in" didn't already have. Face it. "Let me in" was a complete scene by scene copy.

  • @Louchan2 i think it had a lot of differences, abby being a girl, hakan lived his whole life with abby, the virginia character is different, there is a policeman( i know is not the books policeman), but i see what you are saying

  • I love this movie and I love Sweden!

    Greetings from Norway!

  • Damn, she is pretty!

Dont think im a pedophile, im 17 and she is 15, just 2 years of diference

  • Awesome Movie!!! Way better than Twilight

  • @TheDaveyMoore 100% agree with u

  • Man! How you dare to compare this masterpiece with such crap as Meyer's work. I know times make it difficult but... There can't be a real competition.

  • @TheDaveyMoore Why even compare the two? They are on completely different levels.

  • @TheDaveyMoore Did u know Lina is a fan of Twilight, but likes this movie better.

  • @TheDaveyMoore She's a fan of Twilight.

  • @TheDaveyMoore ANYTHING is better than twilight

  • I say no to the remake because she so beautiful :)

  • @tmasters27

    Me too :-)

  • I'm an American and I'm ashamed that America remade this film. The Swedish original is perfect. But it also annoys me when people say that America just makes shitty films. America has made tons of amazing films to go with the tons of shitty films. Lat den ratte komma in is a true masterpiece!

  • @TheWhiteStripes3 yes it is my friend, and i am in love with this movie and i love Lina haha.

  • @TheWhiteStripes3

Agreed. There are many American movies I love and I love your country. I just thought this remake wasn't neccesary and couldn't compete with the original.

  • @TheWhiteStripes3 i feel the addition of the photo of Eli with her previous caretaker when he was 12 was a nice addition but other than that everything about the Swedish one is better.

  • @TheWhiteStripes3 Yes but I actually like the American version nt as much as this Chloe Moretz is no Lina Leandersson but she still played Abby/Eli pretty good

  • I love this great Film! And Lina is super!

  • She's inimitable! I love this film, I love Lina!

  • She is so freakin gorgeous! And so talented! :)

  • Cute girl, nice.. not stupid at all, some ppl at they age are enoying... she almost know what she's talking about... big diference between European ppl and Yankyland..

  • That movie is a masterpiece! Is perfect as it is. Impressive

Please do not compare. And that film has not done with huge budgets!!!

Both childs characters are super cool, amazing actors.

  • @AngusSgXD She's very young, like 13. As she says, "Let the right one in" is too grown-up for her. Fairy love stories with vegan vampires suits better for a young girl like her.

  • @AngusSgXD On the bright side, even though she does like Twilight she apparently recognises Let The Right One In as the better film. Still, doesn't stop it from being incredibly ironic, doesn't it?

  • oh god, her responses are so short and it makes it awkward for the interviewer, lol. but i love her - she's so cute! and her mouth does sound very wet for some reason

  • Angels and Demons-my showreel

  • Lina is my girlfriend, i live in Falun,Sweden.

  • @l09ez hahaha...

    you wish

  • @l09ez seems like an odd thing to just randomly say..

  • @l09ez say hi to her

  • It's kind of annoying just to watch her say yea and no... She doesn't go into explanation at all. She just like, "It was fun. YOu know."

  • @HaverelliProductions Give her a break. She is a kid and obviously very nervous.

  • HE HAS TO BE A IDIOT,WOULD HE ASK HIS 14 YR OLD KID, IF SHES AFRAID OF THE DARK ? 500 WORDS i snt enuogh to eviscerate this dolt for asking nonsensicle questions

  • shes so cute!!!!

  • godammit Lina, why are you so CUTE?!?!?! :D

  • ehh...she look much cuter in the film :/

  • She is a lot more fitting for Eli. I think Chloe Moretz is adorable and a fantastic actress but her image isn't suitable for a vampire. Stick with Hit-Girl hahaha

  • Lina! You're very good actress! good luck the other movies!

  • The girl is just naturally close-mouthed and eccentric. Critics overrated the girl's acting? I thought she nailed Eli's character right on nonetheless!

The adaptation is already getting bad reviews lol. Us Americans and our stupid vampire craze...

  • She's so elegant ! I don't know what it is but this girl has her own personality down to a t. I love her style, maybe it's her way of speaking her native lang ?.. huh.

  • that was painful to watch,, she is so awsome in that film..even my hardcore horror/gore friend who watch films like august underground, a serbian film, visitor q really like this film after i made then watch it.

  • I just read the book too. To be completely honest, I didn't like the way it was written much. It's not the kind of book you'll be able to read comfortably, and it is completely devoid of any humor at all (I mean, even bleak books like all quiet on the western front had some morbid comedy). It's made for a more serious, pessimistic audience. I did not really enjoy this book, though I can see why it was great material for a movie.

  • I wanna punch the interviewer for calling this movie nasty!!

  • Finished reading the book a couple of days ago, would highly recommend it to anyone. It is awesome. And normally I'd say that either the book was better than the movie or vis versa but in this case they go hand in hand perfectly, the movie is a true tribute to the book and doesn't ruin it at all.

  • @AngusSgXD

Um because she is a little girl and the Twilight films are geared to appeal to little girls. Pretty simple.

  • I like how they warn viewers of the horror...these people show cocks in tv commercials!

  • man you cant beat sweden.. SWEDEN RULES

  • @Shamuck22 You a melodeath fan?

  • IKEEEEA!

  • i love how the guy tells her "you can eat some movie popcorn in the meantime" and she inmediatly says "no".

that was a really bad interviewer

  • the american remake acually looks like it could be okay, but americans always try to be better than other countries movies, and they always fail horribly!

which you might seem strange, coming from me, because i am american.

  • @aniandina strange but tru because every movie hollywood puts out now sucksss

  • The movie is simply magnificent the truth. That bad was the interviewer on having had wanted to leave in evil Lina, but it was really a sincerity:) And in addition his action was supernatural:D

  • Lina really reminds me of Keisha Castle Hughes in Whale Rider, they both got a lot of attention for playing a subtle, old-soul type of character and they both seem to have the same kind of personality as the girls they portray.

  • Love this girl !

  • Comment removed

  • @dkuyk91 hahaha "have some movie popcorn!" "no"

  • I think everyone should read the book. It was excellent. It really gave you some insight into what was really going on and gave you more to the understanding of who was Eli. It really cleared up alot of questions

  • Great actress and she seems humble and sweet.

  • she is gorgeous and the book and movie are great too!

  • @briannemonster ehh..i think she looked better in the film, but that;s just me :)

  • lol poor guy lol just trying to help but still loved this film

  • her voice really is high-pitched. :D

  • So glad they chose her . She made the movie

  • MY DOG IS LICKING MY ARM WHILE I AM WATCHING THIS. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT. BUT I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW.

  • @HotBlueLightning GOD BLESS YOU!

THANK YOU SIR, FOR THAT MOST RELEVANT INFORMATION. THY WORLD SHALL NOT FALL IN 2012 NOW

    YOU SAVED US ALL

AND FOR THAT I WILL OFFER YOU A THUMB POINTING TOWARDS THE SKY

  • I had the intention of watching a childporn-movie when I saw her vagina? I mean.. was that for real?!

  • @neophyte500 rofl

  • @neophyte500 That wasn't her in the shot at all, it was a child-sized doll. Thomas Alfredson had mentioned it in an interview somewhere a while back...and that wasn't a vagina, it was a circumcision scar. The book may hold quite a few surprises for you xD I recommend checking it out.

  • They must be speaking Swedish?

  • @despair2ko yes

  • No one probably don't belive me but I go in the same school as her, in Sweden (falun) small city

  • @viceisthename

    is she popular?

  • She s very sweet. The best movie ever - Let the right one in

  • this movie was awesome

  • @apocalyptica55555 still is.

  • Say no to the american remake!

  • @Colchonz honestly all AMerica can do now is make remakes of other peoples masterpieces b/c they want to correct wat they think the original films lacked but all that cgi and special fx isnt wat makes a movie better, originality and simplicity is more real and beautiful

  • @Colchonz I will give my judgement to after the movie but some movies are not meant to be remade.

  • @Colchonz Is it a remake or a readaptation of the novel?

  • @Colchonz Agreed. They'll probably fuck it up so bad, the original won't seem good.

  • @Colchonz - Why NOT?? ... Have you seen it??

  • @christianramz come on, you know they gonna mess it up. Its just gonna be another angsty-teenvampire drama. And it is gonna be too political correct to show the real issues with a blood drinking child.like other children getting murdered.

  • @Colchonz Well after that great success, I think not dare to remake.. can you imagine such ridiculous will they make!! That movie is too special.

  • @Colchonz British remake actually. (Hammer is a British studio)

And there is nothing wrong with seeing both films....unless anyone is afraid other people might like the other one more. Not sure why that would be a problem. It's nice to have choices in life.

  • @Colchonz I think mean the British remake....no US studio has remade LTROI. (Hammer is a British studio)

  • @HarpoSpoke

Actually that is not 100% true. While Hammer Studios is an British production company, the majority of the remake "Let Me In" was actually done by the Americans. So "Let Me In" is actually an American remake of "Let The Right One In"

  • Just saw the film, its really good, i dont see why they are remaking the film... The usa remake is going to ruin it.

  • Awesome actress! Hope she's get a great future!

  • she doesn't smile much.

  • wow she is so nice what a good actress she rocks!!!

  • i think ive actually fallen in love with her! i really want to meet her

  • @venster2006 keep your pants on big boy she's still only 13

  • @venster2006 you do realise her carer in the film was a peadophile, kinda like what you just said, just throwing that out there

  • I think I'm in love...

  • she is so beautiful and has a lovely voice!!

  • "Hallo and BUH, warm welcome"

  • I love the fact that she's shy in person....it makes her talent that much more impressive and authentic.

  • @grenadianmed But she isn't I've know her since 3rd grade!

  • her voice sounds like alistair overeem's

  • Bless her, she's incredibly shy.

I've just seen the film and was very impressed, I particularly liked the understated way that she performed her role.

Apparently the director had her voice dubbed by Elif Ceylan because Lina sounded too feminine and her character is androgynous.

  • Lina is a beautiful girl. Her eye can speak.

  • She's a good actress. I hope to see her in some other stuff.

  • she is proba;y one of the best and one of the most beutiful actress I have seen. If I ever become a film director I hope i get to work with her

  • She says YES to the popcorn. I don't understand why the translator has written "no".

  • she's really pretty :)

  • She's so sweet!

  • cute

  • LOL at the interviewer... What about Oskar? No interviews for him? Lina was almost thinking "I'm gonna guess what he's gonna ask next.... Oooops, I'm right."

  • She fit her part like a glove fits a hand.

  • tengo una amiga de madrid y son iguales xDD

  • she's kind

  • muy maja.

  • Quieres decir Espanola? Si, talbes si. Lina le da cierto

parecido a las chicas de Madrid.

  • is there an interview with the boy who acted as oskar?

  • It's actually amazing how much she's grown after you watch the film...

  • Grym tjej detta !

  • best vampire film ive seen since the lost boys...lina deserves an oscar

  • @rafflessingapore1 She deserves like, 100

  • she so beautiful

  • this girl really rocks!!!

  • the guy who does the interview doesn't seem very...experienced.

  • @bustedup nop

  • It's like he has no idea how to talk to a teenager. Maybe trying too hard to seem "cool" to her or something silly that adults try to do a lot when around young kids.

I love how she just burns his popcorn offering though; "Yeah..no."

  • no popcorns for lina in the future :D

  • @0Lottee0 Well I noticed that it's pretty hard to act like a teenager when you're not one. I'm only 21 yet I can't talk like a teenager. But that's not a problem I'm not old enough to forget that kids and teenagers are not dumb and they do understand adults even when they don't use colloquialisms.

  • she played an adorable job as Eli

  • i didnt really think it was nasty i thought it was just brilliant not sick or gory but really good

kind of funny at some parts

  • what age is she

  • Now.... She's 13/14 but when she acted in the film she was 11.

  • @Harnikawa She's 15 in september.
