I mean all i drive is audi, going to pick up a b6 1.8t soon to replace my totalled b5 1.8t but this care looks sick! if the vdubs had quattro id be on that shit real fast (maybe...). THis is such a clean job. BTW VW OWNS AUDI. VW's use alot of the same engines and body frame and you can tell that vdubs and audis use similar curves and body lines in the vehicles.

how did you set it so that only the Led part is lit as the DRL ? mine is like backwards my HID lamp would go on for the DRL part then when i turn the light switch the whole thing lights up.

@SHchen89 no it's not an led strip these are built in separate housings inside the assembly. Nothing for a CC as of yet.

@tmwillowbrook your dealer won't install or know where to get em. You gotta get em from tmtuning, parts4euro, UroTuning. They are called s5 LEDs for Passat. I haven't seen any for a CC tho.

You have to get a VAGCOM change to turn NA DRLs off and turn Scandanavian DRLs on. Once thats done u gotta turn projector intensity to 0 and city light intensity to 112. I gotta get mine redone cuz theyre starting to turn off too. Theres a guy in Brandon that does it for $20.

I just got these for my MKV i installed em myself. But for some reason the LED stripes on the bottom turn off after awhile once powered on, Or if I put my car in drive they also go off.

I was wondering if you had any idea what the problem could be.

@xtommy93x ya man, u need to find a VAG-COM dealer in your area. If u dont already know vag com is the program that allows you to access the computer of the car. U need to change from North American DRL(which run the projectors) to Scandinavian DRL(which controls the city/parking bulbs on the stock headlamps, but the parking bulb is running the LED's on the aftrmrkt lights.) go to vwvortex and search s5 leds and youll find like 3-4 threads with useful info..

No, simply plug n play. U will need to find someone in ur area with a vagcom system. A couple of quick easy simple adjustments have to be made. Check it out more on the vortex.

no, the bulbs came with the lights. Its totally plug n play. Just swap ur old projector bulbs in n ur good.
