Rin feels lonely because she has been by herself all these years and cannot leave because she needs to stay in a bacteria free place.To fill that emptiness she makes Kaito. But Kaito hasn't awoken yet and Rin's time is almost up. So she goes in the tank to become nutrients for Kaito, and before she dissloves,Kaito wakes up.Then Rin dissolves and Kaito goes back to sleep.

I think when rin and len were young they were really sickly, Len died, rin barly survived so it was a miracle that she did live. She was put in a bacteria free lab so she wouldnt get sick or so. She was making a human, but he wouldnt awaken, the body needs nutrients so it can be strong, (if u watch the one after this SPOILERS) Rin dumped alot of things in the container. But she placed herself in it so the body can be strong. Good enough or no?

Len and Rin were supposed to be twins but Len died while Rin survived by some miracle. She tried to create human but he never woke up. Rin knew her time was up as she wasn't supposed to survive in the first place and it left her sick. She decided to give herself to Kaito so that they could be always together, if not alive then at least in some other way.

@XHoshinaUtauUtauX ... Because the visual artist wanted to draw Kaito naked inside a cannister? There's a follow up where he sings as well so it's possible that the audio creator wanted his voice (even though it's Len singing in this one)

From an in-story POW I suppose Rin didn't know really what her brother would look like and focused on making him look dreamy instead. Or he just grew to look like that randomly. I dunno *shrug*

Oh my god. I am crying my eyes out. This story is so sad. Rin wanted her sibling with her, but apparently he died. She was all alone her whole life in a laboratory. She wanted to be like everyone else, but she couldn't. In the process of making Kaito, she discovered that the same thing that killed Len was starting to kill her. She realized she would never see or be with Kaito. So, she sacrificed herself to bring Kaito to life. It breaks my 'kokoro'.

I think it goes like this: A scientist finds out how to manipulate DNA to make practically anything. Rin and Len were an experiment of that, and it went wrong. Neither took a correct human shape, so the scientist has to experiment to keep them alive and make them look human. Although they were twins, they was only enough nutrients/energy for one to live. The scientist then decided to let Rin live; Len died due to not having enough energy/nutrients to live. (cont. above due to character limit)
