Still a great place though. Just a wiseman from the East getting used to a mentality 2 decades behind the rest of the country. Not necessarily a bad thing. Responding to repartee and strangers is not something done here either - all you get are crickets chirping away.
Fun to watch indeed, i've been in Perth for about two months of my 6 months stay in Australia. Amusing to see all those places again :-) I hope i get back there again some time, very nice city.
