  • Who's on drums here? I presume that's Troy Van Leeuwen on guitar.

  • Love the distorted bass lead in this song. While I hear elements of Nirvana in the tune, the wall of sound is distinctively Failure. CHOICE.

  • Oh YES!! Thanks for posting....it's been years & I never thought I'd hear or see this song live again.....even if it's just via computer;)

  • i'm so sick of hearing people bitch about how shitty music is these days. there's plenty of -amazing- music around still, you just gotta dig for it. we have the internet its not like it's hard. if you can't find any good new music you're just doing something wrong. and i'm gonna say, i personally dont find failures studio releases anywhere -near- as impressive as their live recordings. although i've never had a copy of my own to listen to all the way through which often makes the difference, so.

  • Hearing Ken play this song live was the musical highlight of my young life. Failure cannot be matched. Failure will not be stopped. Fuck corporate music. Long live creation.

  • The bass on every song on Magnified is so f'ing sick

  • Do you have all these videos on a DVD. They are one of my faveriot bands of all time

  • Yeah. Failure is epic and so under-appreciated

  • houston was such an unlikely place but also the bulk of remaining live material from one of the best space-rock bands ever

  • i grew up in the 90s. its true...i recognize now that there was an overwhelming flood of good music that you just don't see these days. it was a time of creativity.

  • @larf06 - Check out the current scene of great bands, you just are out of touch with it probably, I had the same issue at one point. Check out current bands like "sleepytime gorilla museum' 'q and not u' 'minus the bear' 'the paper chase' 'the residents' 'buckethead' 'hella' 'helms alee' 'isis' . I agree though there was lots of creativity, but look at the 80s too with danny elfman/oingo boingo/devo/zappa etc. and it continues the problem is they remain underground as radio/music is corporatized

  • @larf06 - I forgot, anything with Mike Patton in it, Dresden Dolls, Stolen Babies, anything with John Zorn, Les Claypool, That1Guy, Praxis, Sonic Youth still going Strong...

  • great drummer

  • nobody knows about failure. i mean they are fucking epic and amazing. i cant get enough of them. i think i was born in the wrong time cause i hate the music that is coming out now. music is on a downward spiral...

  • I totally agree with you man I wish I were a teenager in the early 90s

  • "downward spiral" reference to great 90s album? lol

  • Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaain squee-als!

Always liked this song a ton!

  • Oh yeah. By the way. You're all a bunch of jackasses......

  • best guitar duo? i love failure and all, but that statement is just naive. halariously, troy didnt write any of the music in failure (even more so, its a magnified song) and ken is playing the bass.

  • troy and greg best guitar duo to ever set foot on a stage? were u highh when u said that?.. more like chad ginsburg and deron miller, james hetfield and kirk hammett, not to mention beck and page comin together on stage.

  • Maybe the issue about the guitar duo was wrong...but your Quote about pro duos like "Hammet and Heitfeild"?? HAHAHAHAHA. Kirk Hammet is one of the most lier guitarist of all time. Take away his crap wahwah ,and he does NOTHING. He is a Shit. Hetfield is other thing,he can really play hard and beautiful tunes

  • They both suck equally.

  • In fact, Metallica sucks, but really is Heitfield who plays good the guitar. Hammet sucks! Strings Duos are often overrated , and in a lot of times, the people who judge thinks in the guitar technics, and other knowledge´ bout that. But, in the end,..the only thing left in the memory is the music, no the technicism,...The melodies that rounds our minds.

  • i saw these guys with tool when they were touring for opiate or undetow hell i dont remember....all i do remember is being amazed at how much these guys kicked ass. this video doesnt do them justice

  • You probably saw the BEST SHOW EVER. damn im jealous. Troy and Greg are the best guitar duo to ever set foot on a stage. seriously.

  • awesome, please reunite
