@CMGuettler i had a kid at my school last year bet me his audiobahn system... amp, four 12" pink stripe subs, and cap. this dude clearly did not know how to tune his system. his head unit was putting bass to all of his components and his subs were bottoming out horribly. he lost his system to mine (running a single 12" digital designs 2512 off a JL 1000/1 wired in series @ 1ohm)....... i let him keep his shitty system lol

I have 4 of the same subs in my K-5 blazer. They can take alot of abuse! With a custom built box that I built I hit a 143.3dBs @ 29Hz. Made the guy sneeze over and over and he was term labbing on the out side of the Blazer!

you can't shove any speaker in a box and expect good results.
thats why you need to know it's TS parameters and use something like WINISD for the correct box with correct porting.
