Why do say this is a rip off of House. Just because its a show based around a Doctor. The show is totally different, House like to solve medical mysteries against the clock to get his living patients well again. To him its just a puzzle to be solved, so he can tell everyone how brilliant he is. In this show its about a former surgeon, who now helps solve murders as a medical examiner. More like a female Quincy with personal baggage, than House. I like House, Body of Proof and other cop shows.

I thought ABC already did a show like this ten years ago, about a strong, determined hotshot woman from Philly, with her just being a lawyer instead of a coroner. Turns out that was KIM Delaney in that show, not Dana Delaney.

I only remember that because I'm from Philadelphia and no movies or TV shows ever want to shoot here, EVER (and for good reason), so it's always odd to see some Hollywood, fictionalized version of your hometown, cause you know people like that could NEVER live here.

Yes it'is something between a medical drama and crime serial But I really would like to watch it to see if it will be interesting for me or not. No one can say how many seasons it will have.
