  • Eileen Farrell is my 'new' favorite singer--I love everyting about her voice--its power, golden tone--and sincerety.

  • @windstorm1000 I agree with you....thaank you!!!

  • THe great and wonderful voice of Eileleen Farrell!

  • @7inga7 Right!!! thank you!!!,Cheers, Sergio.

  • It is sad to think that in those years classical artists - American and foreign - were regularly given roles in films, and films had themes around classical music. Today-not. I'm sure there would still be an audience.

  • Bizarre. There's Farell, with one of the greatest voices of the last century -- as technically perfect and emotionally authentic as anyone could dream -- supplying the voice for one of the phoniest actresses in Hollywood history. Miss Eleanor Parker, tooling around the meat locker, striking her usual series of freeze-dried poses and attitudes in the worst Dramatic Wheel Chair Choreography outside of Joan Crawford in "Baby Jane" -- and we're supposed to believe she sounds like Eileen Farrell.

  • I sawe this film as a child, and was floored by Farrell's versatility.

  • Ferrell could make the crossover to pop ballads like no other - such great taste and feel. Sorry, Garland, Battle, etc. this is the best I've heard.

  • ...yes!! she was so unique!!!

  • Yes, you are so right!!...thank you very much!!!. Cheers!!!, Sergio.
