  • Why isn't this in the front differential of every 4x4 pickup truck?

  • @SparkDischarge thought the same thing myself. must be a cost issue.

  • Looks like it adds a lot of weight...

  • @jhbonarius Eaton...stands for.. "ATON if you look at it right lol..hit the nail on the head.

  • @jhbonarius

That's good since more weight=more traction.

  • @SPS148669 yes, you should drive around with your trunk filled wilt bricks or maybe even with lead. definitely an improvement.

  • anyone get this?

  • @richtalentel Haha, actually no I didn't figure out how it worked by watching this video, either. Looks interesting, though.

  • @jgizzy I'm no genius, but I guess it's about the differential having a hydraulic locking system. When the chambers fill with hydraulic fluid, the fluid pushes the spokes of the sprocket, which then pushes those plate thingies together and thus they transmit the force to the side sprocket, which then becomes locked with the cross-shaft of the differential. I hope it helped, I'm not that good at explaining things in English hehe. :)

  • @MinisterPrimus Haha no worries, you did well in explaining it to me. I see what you mean, watching it a second time I can more easily tell what is going on. Thanks Minister!

  • @jgizzy you are most welcome! :)
