Plus I loved building my characters up to the Master level. My cousin and I would kind of compete to see who's characters were highest. Lo master, mon master, or whatever. Took FOREVER to get them that high.
One of my fav games of all time. The bad guy's name was Chaos right? Before I knew how to beat him, I hacked away and threw spells at him for months. One day I experimented with the cages and fuse and figured out. I was pretty proud of myself. LOL. It sucked that once you got the fire gem it locked you from the higher dungeons.
@oracleoracle1911 You know all you have to do is turn around and throw the firestaff out of the room right? And then never take the firestaff back in that room again. Once you do that you can still explore the entire dungeon with the empowered firestaff.
How do you get the wizzard to stand still in the fluxcage? I have tried and tried and tried, I get him in there and hithim with the magic stick or whatever it was, (its 20 years since i played it) and hed vanish only to appear again somewhere else, and if i stood still, bang, hed hit me and id be dead? Im 40 years old now and im off to download this and play it again.
@UTubeNazi Dunno if anyone answered your question, but you must surround him completely by flux cages - with not just the square he is on, but the surrounding ones too. Of course, if some of the surrounding squares have walls in, it's a bit easier - get him against a wall.
The game has an internal clock, that moves in 1/6th of a second ticks. Every mouse click advances the tick by one, and sleeping increses by a factor of TEN. The internal clock showed 31mins and 45 secs. This replay vid looks a little quicker in some parts, even counting in the sleep, but not by much. Yet normal in others. There are options to replay at different speeds.
Stamm was chosen for the starting axe and good stamina, meaning less time sleeping and the 10x speed penalty.

@joyfulvulture Who the Fuck cares if its "Not normal game speed" the only one i see bitching about it is you. Oh and LOL back to you at your Fail attempts to make a point.
PS. LOL at your Stupid name calling and your Grammer you Troll
I had this not sure if I ever completed it or not i think i migh have once i could getto the end with the black demon thing but ui was not sure what to do however I think i did do it once but i could never do it again after that, it was like it had a bug in it
Wow that was amazing... i never completed this! It used to take hours and i had no idea how to save other than leave the amiga on haha! Good work... shame about the lame ending after all that playing you deserve something a bit more dramatic!
Brilliant memories! I never completed it, but I got to the red dragon thing just before the end!!! gutted!!! I still have an atari and the disks, maybe i'll get them out the loft and finnish off that baby! is the trailer for the next game on ps3 & xbox real, that would be mint!
Well, the guys speed running Morrowind are doing it by exploiting bugs in quest design and/or by defeating certain progress checks the game makes by flying over them or warping beyond them. Those don't count.
THIS guy here though does. He has skill, and is mastering a very challenging (And incredibly fun) RPG.

Thanks for uploading! You need a LOT of luck in some areas to get the time down, but I think I can beat it (I bashed into too many walls too!)

Wow! You were lucky to be alive at 6:24! I killed the dragon myself, but then as I said before I took a lot longer than you did to finish the game!

Great that someone made a speedrun out of Dungeon Master.
Templari0n 4 years ago
Yes, this is pretty cool. I like how you did it with one character; I did the same (with a reincarnated SYRA) on the SNES version.

LOL Nice.
I used to love this game.
