  • So what did this car lay down ? I'm looking at this turbo for my 05 LGT with 100mm Cp pistons ,eagle H beam rods ,ACL bearings ,Killer B windage tray and oil pick up,Port and polished heads ,+1 mm valves and BC 272 cams and springs and retainers .Hope to atleast make 450+whp on pump 93oct.

  • @VF52LGT My car only put down 390 whp due to the injectors maxing out. I need 1000cc injectors and headers and I should be around 450 to the wheels. Supposedly, this turbo is rated to reach 500whp. But, I want to be conservative and not push it past its efficiency stage

  • yes he was and not sure why. All that spinning did not pay off in this race.

  • was that dude spinnin his tires before the green light? ROFL some F&F shit there lol

  • The run was on pump gas. I had a 1.8 60'. So, with a 1.7 and crisp shifting, the car will get in the high 11's. I also have open source tuning.

On a separate note, I ran an 11.85 with C16 and missed 3rd gear!!

  • Ken327....Open source means stock ecu reflashing.

  • Thanks for putting this up. I am doing ,almost, the same build on my 07. Soooo....this run was on pump gas? If so, those are pretty good numbers man.

  • I have open source tuning. I am putting down 390 whp and 352 wtq. I had an HTA68 which was a smaller turbo and spooled faster. However, the GTX 3076r has a lot of top end and it holds all the way to red line. The HTA fell on its face on pump gas.

  • Sounds good. What kind of engine management are you using? What did you put down to the wheels? Is the spool on the GTX pretty quick now with the new 11 blades compressor?

  • Are you on stock heads with a built block? What are your other mods?

  • yes, I still have the stock heads. Other mods include a Cosworth short block, Turbo XS FMIC, DW 850cc injectors, Perrin DP, Agency Power CBE, PPG gears (straight cut 1-4), KS Tech big maf intake, Grimmspeed air/oil separator

  • I also think that I did something wrong or shifted too slow at the end. My trap speed of 113mph is low for that turbo. So, I am going to run it again and make sure there are no issues.
