UP 1996 heritage unit leaves Clinton, IA 5-5-11

I did not know any of these were still painted this way someone told me UP painted them back in UP yellow its nice to see they were wrong

@gaycowboy31 Oh...yeah I think I have heard they will be painted in the upcoming years, but all 6 are still around.

@rockchickvw yah thats cool they are still around for now at least I know the MKT unit was in a fire last time I saw it at Rochelle in helper service it had bad fire damage but still running I still want to see the others especilly the MoPac one I grew up on MoPac as a kid that and MKT both railroad were in my hometown but this SP is the one I really want to see hell I dont care I want to see them all before they are gone

@gaycowboy31 Yeah, the Katy did have a fire at some point. It has since been repainted.

@Jeffwecker81 yah good luck I have only seen 2 myself the MKT one and the WP one the MKT one was by accident and I did not have a camra that day and the WP was a chance encounter

No, it does not. This is the east-west line. There is the spine line that meets up with this in western Iowa that does go up to MN

Does this line go up to Minnesota?
