I think she tried. I remember watching an interview and her mom said that Ann just got the "big" Wilson gene and has always battled her weight. Her mom even said she was a big baby. If you've seen her lately she looks a lot healthier though and is still beautiful as ever. She's lost a lot of weight and her face is just as gorgeous as ever.

Ann Wilson is pure class. I was at this concert, which was only a year or two after Carrie won AI. For Ann to duet one of her most popular songs with someone so new in the music industry, again, pure class. It was also Carrie's b-day. Ann had a cake brought out on stage and sang Happy Birthday to her.

Ann is probably the most talented rock vocalist besides Freddy Mercury. I'm sorry Carrie, but her voice does not fit into this song. Carrie is talented, I guess, but singing with Ann doesn't flatter her voice at all. All those weird country things she does during the song-HORRIBLE. Sorry Carrie, you're good at your music. Leave the rocking out to the professionals like Ann.

Powerful song. Nancy Wilson is a guitar goddess and Ann Wilson is second only to the Queen of Rock, Pat Benatar. Did any of you guys see this Night at Sky Church (Seattle) concert on VH1? What a great selection of songs Heart did! Allison Krauss sang lead on "These Dreams." It was amazing!

Look had Carrie been on stage by herself, i probably would have said she did a pretty good job. But Ann just blew her away, and it became the legend and the pretender.

Plus not only is Ann the far superior singer, it's also practically Ann's signature song. It'd be like someone trying to do Eternal Flame with Susanna Hoffs, or Stars with Mick Hucknall.

Wow! It's amazing to see Ann still singing as amazingly as before and this Carrie whatever has nothing to do with the song. Pretty voice she has, but that's not for rock, but pop music like Christina Aguilera and all these singers who sound the same (not saying they don't sing well, but they do sound the same) and Ann sings with much more passion and intensity.
