@goombabear Frankfurt has got one of the biggest Airports on earth. On the other hand is near Frankfurt the european Headquater of the US Air Force and there are a lot of passengers who are on buisness trips between US and Germany. Also Vacation travelers ... In Frankfurt most of the flights go to german and american cities, mostly Washington, New York JFK/Newark and Chicago ...
That was quite a takeoff roll. Looked like they wanted every knot they could get before they pitched into rotation. I'm not one for the conspiracy but that one made me pucker up and it wasnt to kiss my girlfriend.
For my yearly trip to New Haven - CT, I've, many times, made use of the US Air flight from AMS to PHL (with a connecting flight to HVN, with US Air Express).
Unfortunately US Air only uses the Boeing 767-200 and Boeing 757-200 for these routes and I sure wish to be crossing the big pond on a US Air A330, one day.
I'll be on a (first time) KLM A330 flight to Vancouver at the end of September; That's a pleasant compensation; I think.
No, that was not the camera angle. That must have been one heavy airplane because he did use almost every foot of that runway. I remember getting a little concerned as it got closer to the end of the runway . . .
Better quality @720 :)

@50centonlineNetworks I was just curious. There also seems to be quite a few flights to Germany from Atlanta.

It used basically the whole runway, or maybe it was just the angle where the camera was

I agree, that sure does look like a heavy takeoff. Just the way the plane rotates at the end.. I'm taking this same flight July 13th to Frankfurt.
Great video, thanks

I agree, it sure does look heavy. Just the way it rotates at the end looks scary almost. I'm taking this same flight July 13th to FRA.
