  • Better quality @720 :)

  • Why are there so many flight to Germany?

  • @goombabear Frankfurt has got one of the biggest Airports on earth. On the other hand is near Frankfurt the european Headquater of the US Air Force and there are a lot of passengers who are on buisness trips between US and Germany. Also Vacation travelers ... In Frankfurt most of the flights go to german and american cities, mostly Washington, New York JFK/Newark and Chicago ...

  • @50centonlineNetworks I was just curious. There also seems to be quite a few flights to Germany from Atlanta.

  • quite aggressive takeoff and a long roll. Quite unsettling, great video though!

  • Nice..I spot there all of the time....I go out to see the a340-600

  • The A 330 is a beauty! Nice & slender.

  • ahhhh... the sounds of the powerful engines... i can almost smell the jet fuel burnin!

  • Red, White and Blue!! Beautiful airplane.

  • such a beautiful take off!

  • it's charlotte airport supposed (or even allowed) to handle airplanes this big?

  • @simvisiado yes us airways has a hub at charlotte (i go there all the time as i live an hour away lol)

  • @YouRockJelly CLT is US Airways largest hub.

  • @simvisiado Charlotte is the 11th busiest airport in the USA and 24th busiest in the world.

  • @simvisiado of course

  • @simvisiado They handle even larger...An A340 is used on a route to Germany. 4 engines...it's a beauty.

  • That was quite a takeoff roll. Looked like they wanted every knot they could get before they pitched into rotation. I'm not one for the conspiracy but that one made me pucker up and it wasnt to kiss my girlfriend.

  • is charlotte a hub?

  • Lufthansa tail at 0:32

  • nice take off i flow this route 2 years ago

  • High Def is awesome!!!keep up the good work!!:_D

  • Great!!! Going on the US Airways a330 from London Gatwick to Charlotte at christmas!

  • For my yearly trip to New Haven - CT, I've, many times, made use of the US Air flight from AMS to PHL (with a connecting flight to HVN, with US Air Express).

Unfortunately US Air only uses the Boeing 767-200 and Boeing 757-200 for these routes and I sure wish to be crossing the big pond on a US Air A330, one day.

I'll be on a (first time) KLM A330 flight to Vancouver at the end of September; That's a pleasant compensation; I think.

  • due to the construction of the new runway this is actually 18C/36C

  • AWESOME!

  • very nice video mate! Good quality! 5/5

  • It used basically the whole runway, or maybe it was just the angle where the camera was

  • No, that was not the camera angle. That must have been one heavy airplane because he did use almost every foot of that runway. I remember getting a little concerned as it got closer to the end of the runway . . .

  • I agree, that sure does look like a heavy takeoff. Just the way the plane rotates at the end.. I'm taking this same flight July 13th to Frankfurt.

    Great video, thanks

  • I agree, it sure does look heavy. Just the way it rotates at the end looks scary almost. I'm taking this same flight July 13th to FRA.

    Great video, thanks
