@traccstar1182 i love how just cuz i said racist u automatically think of black ppl, u must of said sumthin racist then, to be that defensive about being raicst to black ppl when is aid and meant nothing about black ppl u racist
@xMxYxSxTxIxKxAxLx just cuz you love my response doesnt mean i said anything wrong. i was commenting on a black that had black players in the video and you call me a rascist. therefore its logical for me to think, you found my comment on those players racist
they featured alot throughout the highlight reels if im correct back in those days the were like the professional streetball type young guns .......dont think they won many games but always had a maddddddddd highlight LOL
@Ryzon28 Actually, they were all in their 1st 4 years when they were only a couple of wins short of the playoffs, but their owner decided to break the team up because he didn't want to pay their contracts. Donald Sterling is infamous for this.
Plays you actually practice aren't spectacular. This was a play they work on. They did it against the Blazers too, I know cuz the Blazers ran the same exact play in the same game back in 01.
that fuckin play was not practiced dumb fuck...... how the fuck was it practiced... odom clearly just saw that nigga running and threw it up and it really isnt that hard to do wat he did....odom is hella tall.
Did you even watch the clippers back then? They ran that play sucessfully at least 3 times. The blazers ran that play too. It is a classic oop play. It is not spectactular. The only reason it looks spectacular is because Miles was athletic enough to bail out a bad pass. Don't shoot the messenger nigga!
Them was lil niggas back then, and as lil niggas, we practiced all types of shit, that was a oop play. Lamar Odom knew he had Miles on the wing, so he threw it up there for him. We ran shit like that, everybody does. It wasn't slick like that.
That by far is the greatest dunk ever, because all three aspects of it were perfect. Rooks' outlet pass to Odom, then while still in the air Odom no look alley-oops it to Miles, who when Odom caught the ball was still at the 3 point line, then Miles catches it and 1 hand dunks it. Harlem Globtroters eat your heart out!
I did'nt say Odom was at the 3 point line, I said D Miles was still at the 3 point line when Odom caught the ball, watch another version of the play and you will see.
the dunk it self was not that is certainly not the greatest....odoms pass was great but the best dunks come off bad passes, thats wen superior dunkers use their athleticism to compensate. Is this the first basketball hightlight u have ever seen?
So called hoopsdocter, by the way its doct-or not er. Unlike yourself who's knowledge for amazing dunks comes only from watching SC. I saw this dunk live as it happened which is truly the only way to appreciate it's brilliance. As I said before D Miles was still at the 3 point running full speed towards the basket when L Odom caught and immediatly released the ball. You need to youtube a different varsion of this masterpiece and then maybe you will learn something about what I am talking about!

amber! how i choose to spell my user name has nothing to with the fact that MJ baseline over Ewing, LBJ over Sheed in playoffs, kobe over nash (just to mention a few) shit all over any of darius miles' stuff.
Its a great play but it wasnt even a big time moment. Just because you saw it live at your 1st nba game doest mean sht.
Also, i gaurantee my knowledge of the nba exceeds, yours Ask eddie johnson.
What does EJ know about dunking the ball he was a 3 point specialist. And I have been going to NBA games since the seventies bro, so chill out and try not to take things so personally. The fact that 3 different individuals were all involved in this play is what makes it a perfect play. Not just a take a guy off the dribble jam or a big coming over late to help out and getting dunked on by another guys man.
If you like those kind of dunks that much then you might as well watch D Wade in the Olympic exhibition games in China right now, thats just everyday stuff for those guys. EJ was 6'7" with a 2 inch vertical man. C'mon.
Dude next time watch the play before your comment. Miles jumps hangs looks back for the ball and dunks. I agree it was not the greatest all time. But a very athletic play by all three players none the less. Miles in my opinion is one of the most athletic big guys I have seen period.
damn i loved that clipper team being that i have been a clipper fan my entire life that team that had lamar odom darius miles andre milller q richardson earl boykins elton brand corey maggette that was the best clipper team they have ever assembeled and alvin gentry was a very good coach
Absolutely the best thing that could've happen was the "Young Guns" and a coach like Gentry who was willing to let them play their game and have fun out there...Here's what should've happened: When Jeff McInnis became a free agent, Keyon Dooling should've been given the PG reigns instead of trading Miles for Andre Miller. The moment Miles was traded that was the end of waht was a promising deal in Sterling-land. If he cared about winning more than his BS law practice, then the LAC would be fine.
I agree the LAC should be on top of the world if this crew with Odom, C-Magg, EB, Q, D-Miles, and Keyon were still around. I wish David Stern would force Don Sterlling into selling the team to someone who cares about winning and not being stingy with their $. So I said it, screw Donald Sterling and Elgin Baylor, cause they have no business skills whatsoever...
I miss though clippers - Odom, Miles, Richardson, Miller, Boykins, Brand, Candy, Maggette, Dooling. I wisnj the would have kept that team in tact. Too much talent
