  • Do you have any intention of playing Empire or M2TW? Because I just picked up Medieval 2 on sale.... I miss your videos.

  • make more rtw videos please! ill lick you.

  • Parthia actually won? Fascinating. Though the defenders mistakes were as astounding.

  • hey cluny are you considering doing more co-commentary with PrinceofMacedon?

  • @blurayz3 No, I'm done with RTW for now.

  • @ClunytheScourge1 oh ok man :)

  • great battle Cluny

  • vomit stain haha

  • love the strategic prowess mixed with comedy

  • haha hillman climb

  • but hillmen is better than eastern infantry right?

  • @johnluppin they are about even if u look at the stats

  • This is probably my favourite seige battle ever. i watch this whenever I want to see elephants running thourgh the streets of Rome.

  • I saw the title, and was like... "Parthia, siege? They couldn't win a siege for anything.

  • Don't the siege towers get ballistas or something when u face epic walls?

  • They do, and the roman turtle formation is powerless against it lol.

  • i have played alexanderthegreat he is terrible

  • lol your a retard

  • first off what i said has nothing to do with the crusades so i dont know why you pulled that out of your ass. second alexander the great anal raped the muslims. the indians gave them way more trouble than the persians. third try and make more sense next time.

  • I don't think the Persians were practicing Islam yet when Alexander trounced them. Actually, I don't think anyone was practicing Islam. Or Christianity, for that matter.

  • @joeratti

Ehem...By "muslims" I hope you mean "Zoroastrians," because the Persians followed the prophet Zoroaster in the 4th century BC, not Muhammed of Islam, who wouldn't be born for another nine centuries. I mean, for Christ sake, Zoroaster's religion was taken up by the Parthians and Sassanids of Persia. Kind of hard to miss that. Please, try to make more sense next time.

  • nicely done, but i ask myself wheter it would have worked if your opponent wasn't so stupid with placing/choosing his troops

  • i thought the exact same thing :0

  • you could have taken out a lot of the foresters with your towers if you had them on fire at will, because they launch ballista rounds out from the slit at the top, above where the gate flips down.

i havent played for a while, so maybe this feature was eliminated, but if it wasn't it could save a lot of work

  • head stuck up each others arses thats funny

  • Whould u battle once Prince_of_Macedon??? im curious what factions whould u chose and who will win of course ;).

  • this was a cool battle lol what a huge wall

  • An "epic" wall in the game's jargon.

  • (no racism included in that comment).

  • cool acsent dude go britan you sound smart, I'm into history too lol. Got barbairian invasion or Madievel total war orrrrrr Alexander? If not there awesome.

  • I have BI, ALX and M2. If you're interested, you can find some of my BI and ALX battle videos on my account.

  • Parthians are great in the field, but they are quite lame on walls, as they have no good infantry.

  • It's only a pity we can't train cataphract-camels to climb ladders, I guess.

  • Yep.

  • wouldnt it be better that you attacked the walls first with your towers and when you are fighting the archers, attacks the gate with the ram?

  • Well, the wall-towers release a continual stream of automatic flaming-bolts which target your siege equipment as you close in, without any assistance from archers on the walls, and you need at least 3 rams to advance at the same time to get one to reach the gate intact (when dealing with walls this size). So in practice I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have made much difference.

  • yep...

i know a way to break the gate of a 'huge city' like rome:

take your catapults, set them to flaming pots, and order them to attack the 'gatehouse'(Not the gate). once it is destroyed, use a battering ram to break the gates.

  • I find that, on epic stone walls, that most of the defenders on a wall are killed by artillery fired from the siege towers. I call it 'green mist' for this is the colour that these artillery shots are. Know what I mean?

  • I refuse to build walls above stone after experiancing epic stone wall tower's siege towers. Those ballistae are more powerful than ETW artillery!

  • Sure does look cool though.
