both use g71 cores. And mine is alot faster than ps3. Ps3= 550mhz core and mine= 650mhz core it would look better on his pc is someone was designing for only his hardware as well like they do for game consoles.

wow the 7950GT may be more powerful than a PS3 and an Xbox360- but it doesnt come close to the Newer DX10 GPU's like the 8800GT's and the 9600GT's as the mid range card just like the 7950GT was- its amazing how fast the midrange sector grows! Awsome video by the way- nice graphics and it runs smoother than i thought possible on an older card.

Apparently if memory serves me correct a type of R600 series core. They both suck now and the 2 months ago I commented was before I had a quad core at 3.2ghz, 8gb ddr2 1066 and a gtx 260 core 216 running at 730/1532/1300. The 360 has more system bandwidth btw, ie graphics can perform things faster.

Swapped My AMD X2 5200+ for a Q6600 and framerate never goes below 60fps anymore @ 1920x1200 native res. with 2x 8800 GTS 640MB in sli.

With the x2 5200+ @ 3Ghz i'd be lucky to get 35~55 fps with the same cards and settings on this level.

I played UT3 for PS3 and I have to say it was pretty good, but the online community need to be bigger. The PC version is fuckin' awesome and I really need to get it, but I am bone stock because of airsoft lol. How is this game workin' for the rest of you?

To VioletKing69: Wow, I have no idea why yours isn't running as good as mine. What resolution are you running at?(the higher the resolution the lower the frames). What drivers are you using for the video card? Did you download the patch for this game?

To TehCho: At this resolution (1680x1050) it is playable at medium settings. If I go to high there is lots of lag. I am sure the 7950 will play crysis on high settings at a lower resolution. There are a couple of videos on youtube of people running crysis on high with a 7950gt, however Im not sure what the resolution they are playing with.

I have 7950 gt and a fucking pentium4 and sometimes does 18 fps :S.

and don't change in low settings :/

To nikebitch60: Yes, that is most likley the problem. Get some more RAM and also download the latest drivers for the video card. Also, if you play at a higher resolution you lose frames. Oh, don't know if this is relevant to your problem, but I heard UT3 has a built in fram-rate cap at 60FPS max.

I also have 7950GT,it's OC-ed at 675/740 and also runs UT3 all maxed out ( no AA ) in 1440x900 30FPS ( in some big action ) probably 90 in some not action parts and average is probably middle 50's

7950GT and UT3 = enjoyable !

What do you mean by final version? Or do you mean the patch? There's only 1 actual version of the game that's been released for PC and PS3.
