I'm not really into Facebook or Social networking. Would it be possible to shut all of those features off on this phone? I just want a cheap Android phone that isn't made by LG.
@E2vids I ended up purchasing the Inq Cloud Touch for $88 out right. I disabled the Facebook stuff on it and it's been working well. I'm sure it's the best bang for buck deal right now.
@E2vids Just for future reference, it is possible to remove all of the Fbook and Social networking stuff from the desktop screens. The Fbook apps are simply Widgets that have been loaded by default. Just drag them into the trash can and they won't be there anymore. Unfortunately you can't delete them right off the phone though.
hi people... I get this phone for free with 10euros contract... but i could also get nokia e71 as I had horrible experience with previous crappy crappy inq... i would opt for that... am i wrong? i know thi is android... frankly as long as i dont have to pay interet to use GPS and i can get free maps i m kinda happy... ;) this is a much newer phone rught? but... nokia is a symbol for me!
@emmilyismyname what! where did you find the purple case? and by chance do you know to make it vibrate for a text message notifaction? i can only get silent or sound :/

Im hoping for a: almost lag free phone, good battery, can get apps/games (does not matter if it is like 3-d games.), good music player, and easy texting. Also on the INQ touch can I remove any apps that originally came with it and how does it affect me when they say it doesn`t have adobe flash?
Without flash you can't view certain websites, videos or media content. But most sites cater for non flash devices now such as the iPhone. So you'll still be able to watch videos and such. Both phones are great, but the Ace edges it slightly in quality. If you can test somewhere in store before buying that may help you get a good feel of both.

Also its ridiculous im in Canada so the companies kinda suck, but anyways I going to buy the phone for 175 Canadian dollars (not including taxes and a sim card) and transfer it to my company. Or I could buy it straight from my company for 229 kind of dumb especially because the company im buying it from (koodo) is own buy my company (telus).

Hi, my inq cloud touch stopped working and wouldnt turn on so i swapped batteries with my brother and his one still work but one mine the orange light wont stopp flashing and it wont turn on! HELP PLZ.
@Butterflywings0011 It sounds like you have a technical fault with your handset and would need to take it back into the network/shop where it was purchased and either replace it or send away for repair. As you have only had it for a few weeks it is still well within warranty :)

I have the phone, im new to the smart phone world so this may be a dumb question...but i noticed the android keyboard is always running under applications...is this using up my data?
i got this phone 2 days ago, and when i try to connect to my wifi it always says disabled, i turned my wifi box off and on, and it still wont work. but it lets me connect to like mcdonalds with no problem... any ideas whats going on?!

Cheers for the advice mate, in all my technological ignorance I failed to notice that T-Mobile offer 6 months of free Internet with the Optimus Me, and an extra 6 months is only £20. I was too wrapped up in trying to avoid exorbitant 3G charges. Btw keep the reviews coming, they're definitely good when it comes to deciding the best to buy :D

@lifeizthebox You can buy the phone as pay as you go (without a contract) the price will vary on what network provider you are purchasing it from :)

Ah, I see. Using widgets does use up a small amount of data. You can turn background data off so the widgets can be updated manually.

Different phones vary, honestly we're not sure how much data it will use doing this, it won't be as much as when using it to browse the internet.
Wi-Fi is free so that would be no problem.
