Agreed broszman07!!! Actually listened to another couple groups do that song and 4 THE RECORD, especially the soloist, sounded better, better change ups on the Coats arrangement. Vibrato thing is true in spots, but again, amazing launching off point considering crewd recording and little practice.
i think the video is great. yes we have a few adjustments that need to be made, but i think for only a few months of being a group we sound outstanding. i think the harshness of the soloist is JUST FINE. I think that comment was alittle rude.
3. You all need to agree on one sound for the voice. Such as deciding when to use vibrato and when to use straight tone. Unifying that sound would make a remarkable difference!
4. Perhaps you should consider adding a few more voices. This would not only give the group a fuller sound, but it would help everyone to blend together better if you have more voices to blur the lines between the different voice types.
I hope those comments were helpful! I wish you all the best of luck!
5th practice overall, probably shouldn't have posted this early.
Good advice, but sometimes hard to take the yucky medicine without a little sugar...but thanks for the medicine anyway. All taken under sound advisement.
By the way, completely disagree with the more people notion...it just muddies the sound unless you are extremely concise on every note, every person.
good work so far. I just had a few comments that I thought would be helpful!
1. You need to work on singing with everyone in tune. It sounds like everyone is so focused on singing their own part that no one is listening to each other.
2. The female soloist in the first song needs to not sing so harshly. It sounds like she is pushing it, which makes everyone go out of tune. It may be that her voice is not suited for that type of solo.
Thanks a million bambam489! We are new to the professional a cappella scene, so your comment means a lot. Look for more posts in the coming months of live concerts.
Wow this is a really great promo and i think you all have a great talent that should be shared with everybody in the world. Thanks alot for the listen!!!
