  • I feel like a shitty musician now.

  • UnReal Man! jPJ didnt have 2 sell his Soul!

  • insane... love it

  • This song is amazing. The definition of eargasm

  • das ist kingcrimson?

  • strange compelling song

  • its nice to hear he got away from rock--cause they did that just a little bit--lol

  • Cool singing, actually. It's simple, without any pretention. It makes the song even "creepier" than it already is, in a certain way. Like he's describing how he's going to kill you in an atrociously painful way, but with a perfectly normal and calm voice.

  • 1:40 I LOVE THE PIANO

  • gosh, i hate the drums, i wanna hear the BASS

  • @MagDuke Shut up imbecil. Pseudo ROcker.

  • Thank you JPJ for everything!

  • JPJ = legend of the highest order. He was also responsible for the seminal Carouselambra on In Through The Out Door which was a wild amalgam of disco, prog and metal. Brilliant!

  • JPJ actually came up with A LOT of Led Zeppelin riffs. He is at least equal to Page in terms of musicianship.

  • @ubernerd35 Yeah, and he did it without dating 14 year old girls, like Page. Is that pedophilia?

  • I think that JPJ has known for since a long while ago now that he's always been exceptionally cool. His relative mystique coupled directly in part with his seemingly eternal underratedness, simply has always added extra to the absolutely untarnishable extent of his coolness.

  • @GmanGregilla Yeah.... what he said!

  • John Entwhistle's spirit is present on this...

  • @staernpeder I agree 100%!!! (but just so you know, it's entwistle w/o an H. there's actually a funny pic where he crosses out the H in an incorrect spelling of his name and writes "theres no f***ing H a**hole" and signs it).

  • @ThunderfingersFan3 I'd love to see that picture!

  • @MagDuke if u google Godfrey Townsend, go on his website, and click on "Memories of John Entwistle", you'll see it when u scroll down.

  • His solo work is bloody amazing. Its like progressive Zeppelin.

  • JPJ = the funkiest man to ever grace the planet

  • WHY AM I JUST DISCOVERING THIS NOW?!?

  • jpj really packs a punch with his bass playing

  • JPJ actually wrote A LOT of the riffs and arranged most of Led Zep's songs. It is a crime he isn't more well-known. It's a good thing he is shining via TCV.

  • How on earth is JPJ so versatile? A true genius.

  • BTW, wanna hunt down the two people that gave this a thumbs down.

  • imagine if john paul jones joined queens of the stone age

holy shit that album would be so epic!

  • @toxin789 That's exactly why I liked the idea of Them Crooked Vultures.

  • @toxin789 lol this comment is so stupid

  • @toxin789 he joined them crooked vultures, witch includes dave grohl on drums, josh homme(qotsa frontman) if you havent heard them....DO IT THEIR EPIC AMAZING KICK ASS BAND!!!

  • @aczeppelindc2908 i know about that i meant if he joined qotsa with josh, troy and josh not dave

  • john paul jones kicks fucking ass!!!!!!!!!

  • This was better than Jimmy and Roberts solo work because of who this man is: He is the boss. He made Led Zeppelin what is was and is. Without JPJ, there is no Led Zeppelin. Nobody on the face of this Earth can replace his spot.

  • zajebiste!

  • funny, he was the most underated and his solo albums are way better than what page and plant put out

  • holy cow, this is great, I'm only a minute in too! what a find.

  • I definitively like this song. The only solo song I heard from JPJ (yeah, I'm going to listen more right now lol), and I love it. I kinda like the vocals, in fact

  • I like his vocals, fits the song really well :)

  • the singer sucks! but the instrumental sound great.

  • @TobiAfterDark well thats probably why jones never wanted to do backing vocals even for zeppelin. even though i dont think he's that bad.

  • john is soo cool

  • easily the most talented musician ever to grace rock n roll. his engimatic vocal styles are creepy, intruiging, and haunting. one of the greatest songs i have ever heard.

  • coolest old guy ever

  • God damn, this song gets me every time.

  • Great work from Jonesy - but his singing is not that great.

He should have used another singer - but the music kicks!!!

  • @Orion579 i thought his singing was ok but the chorus was not the best

  • I lost my copy of this CD years ago. Thanks for posting this.

  • I like the music, but I'm so used to the vocals being more dynamic. His vocal melody is so simple that it sounds weird to me.

  • DAMN. this is really good stuff. as ADAMKTN said, Jonesy is the shit.

  • this stuff is tight, Jonesy is the shit

  • this song is like a roller coaster ride .

  • this song reminds me of the work we can hear at the new Them Crooked Vultures album!

  • John Paul Jones is like good old wine, the older the better ...

  • @trevizons

John Paul Jones is more like air, we'd all be dead without him.

  • @trevizons He ages like a fine wine

  • Fripp and JPJ ....brutally good...

I am going to buy it!

  • Man this just makes you grit your teeth and hold on for dear life. Amazing how many cards this man has up his sleeve.

  • JPJ was Zeppelin

  • algunos cambios mme recuerdan a zappa...muy bueno

  • killer . JPJ composes wicked songs effortlessly . Maybe his new band TCV will reveal him for the sonic genius he is , to those who don't already know.

  • he deserves more recognition than he gets

  • Buying this straight away.

  • me too!

  • I agree "He is the most talented in the band "and yet the most over looked, underrated and disrespected.

  • the bassist is always overlooked.

  • alot of classc rock bassists were, well, not the best, but always over looked, roger waters, roger glover, JPJ, Geezer butler, neil redding, etc, all amazing but all pushed aside with the lights on the rest of the band -single tear-

  • JPJ defiantly kicks Micheal Jackson sorry ass

  • @dutchbert420 Michael Jackson= overrated pop-star who wasn't ever very talented at all

    John Paul Jones=under-appreciated musical genius

  • @dutchbert420 rofl, one of the best comments I've ever seen!

  • @dutchbert420 JPJ DEFINITELY kicks MICHAEL Jackson's sorry ass-learn proper English, stupid, before you talk about others.

  • @INKMAN1963 Correct me if I'm wrong @dutchbert420, but I think the word "defiantly" was intentional.

  • i always felt that he was the most talented in the band. he wrote alot of the riffs and played multiple instruments in the music.

  • ya its like early clash but heavy and with better instruments

  • what a psychedelic album !

  • once again john paul jones has given new hope and inspiration to good solid rock music . thank you john for making us feel good ...

  • people hardly recognize JPJ's huge contribution to Zep because he was always in the back while Page and Plant took the spotlight, but his solo work is proof of his musical genius. it reminds me of King Crimson

  • Comment removed

  • he only played the guitar solo on leafy meadows

  • it's a good solo

  • nah i know its great i was just sayin.

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit this just shows you that zep hasnt taken all the good riffs. and theres still many many more greats to be discovered!!!!

  • This is awesome! I want to get this album now.

  • Woooow!

  • wow, hes quite different without zeppelin

    but i like it

  • awesome
