only if were hunting for witches lol swords have to be ornimental so the steel isnt tempered and would break if used and you have to be part of an archery club to have a bow or it will be confiscated talk about pants down hay!! plus baseball isnt a popular sport ovber here so if you were walking down the street with a bat the pigs would take that too and pitch folks yer but you would have to keep it for gardening torches if metal like a mag lite cant b bigger than 8inch as it classes as a weapon
i was a prepper before i new wot it was thanks for the info no hand gun tho live in the uk and were not allowed guns and if im honest im glad, i have only ever used a gun/rifle for hunting and even then it was only an air rifle gotta love some fresh rabbit
...I always have a weirdly large supply of granola bars and shaving cream on hand at my apartment... but that's about as far as my preparedness usually goes.
You do raise some good points, though. I wonder if you have anymore specific tips, maybe for people who might be of the female persuasion and live alone? What's a good way to get started if you're just preparing for yourself... and maybe you don't do guns?
@annhaynie I would say that you should imagine what it would be like to survive a few days without being able to go to the grocery store or leave your home. What would you like to have on hand? What if there was no electricity? What would you need?
What we did for Christmas this different. We changed our list to preparedness supplies. It was a blast! We have a 72 hour kit for four in our van now. We have 7 evacuation bins now. They contain our "camping equipment"/everything we need to survive if we have to leave quickly. We made an evacuation list which is in our "emergency binder" which includes everything we will grab in 15 minutes to leave (food storage, bins, 4 personal suitcases and what goes in them) It was so much fun!.
And I agree with the silver thing too. I'm not going out to buy any soon, as I have little money. And no one wants to be the one who starts some crazy run on silver. It seems to be going up nicely right now, that's all I'm saying.
I try to always keep the tank at least half full. I also use a butane stove, available for $20 to $35 at sporting goods or restaurant supply establishments. You could get a dozen cans of fuel for under 20 bucks last time I checked. I use it in my room with no problem, as long as I have some air circulation. It's not like propane, which requires more serious ventilation.
and on top of all that petrol/gas cost like £1.35 per litre the goverment have us by the short and curlys lol
