Defragmenting puts all the files in your computer where they need to be.

DEFRAGMENT - it takes the "floating" parts of unused data and compacts them back to their original files. it gives you some more space and memory :D

you can also disable the Multiple Monitor Configuration (3-7sec save), Speed up Internet Connection, and Speed up shutdown (15sec less) using 'unlockforus winbubble. there are more options...and it's easy to use.anyway, just google for the app.

I am on a laptop at home, and connect to the net through a wireless router. Don't have a network or anything like that going with other pc's..(though my room mate and I share the same connection)..would disabling 'Remote Differential Compression' effect my bandwidth or internet speed? I've always used Ccleaner since the day it came out I would recommend it to anyone, I use Auslogics defrag and Registry Defrag too, run Ccleaner first then the defrags and you will keep the hard disk at its max speed and whole pc will be snappier, I have made a lot of my friends PCs faster just by running ccleaner alone he had almost 1 Gig of junk lol it has to be the best program ever made- secure file deletion, clears junk and temp, cleans registrty, startup files, uninstall programs its great

PLEASE READ EVERYONE!!!

You should not disable services, you can in fact damage your operating system. If you want to take off certain services to improve performance I recommend you set it as manual rather than disable because that way if the operating system needs a certain service, it can use it without having to breakdown and cry over it not being available. If you disable a very important service, and vista needs it, it will probably blue screen or corrupt.

certain services maybe, there is nothing wrong with "disabling" the windows search service as long as you don't use windows search. Otherwise they should just narrow the windows search as in instructed.

oh just so you guys know, i am COMPLETELY DONE with the 3rd video but by coincidence one of the programs i featured in the video isn't compatible with vista sp1 and will force you to uninstall and reinstall sp1 to get windows working correctly again.
