So if by "out" you mean out of her mother's womb and alive in the world, then, yes, you are right...but she had a band in Iceland before "Debut" came out called The Sugarcubes (look them up..the song "Birthday" is gorgeous) but they didn't exist in the 70's. Don't believe everything you read on Wikipedia.
