Stabilized videos are retouched and so not EVER going to be reliable for anything more than eye strain and a head ache. If you want to 'stabilize' a shaky video then just go frame by frame and take snapshots. It will remove all shake and just leave you with an image.
@Mikanojo Who told you? Of course, recompression from and then to FLV (for upload) did introduce some artifacts but those are marginal. I used the best version of the source footage available and processed it uncompressed. Deshaker (the plugin for VirutalDub that I use) is astonishingly careful with the frames. You can achieve the same effect by making a series of shapshots, rescaling and rotating them to align manually. No retouching was done. As to seeing the details, of course you're right.
It's not Strange it's a Quatch.Lot's of ppl don't believe in them but let me tell u here in Northern British Columbia and the Yukon Territory it's 1 of their main Migration Routes.I never use to believe in them until we moved here.We live in the Bush 200 km from the closest Town. We've seen this one Family group over 50 times. The're seems to be here from April-October.They very weary of Humans and they not herbivores they do hunt small game up to Deer Fans Thank u for the upload Peace
@jozsefkacsa Did you ever think of buying a camera with a telephoto lens? Just make several clear pictures of them and you'll dispel the doubts of all the humankind once and for all. If there's so many of them in your area making at least one good, detailed photo wouldn't be too hard.
@Efenstor I do have a Camera. We usually see them when we go hunting or fishing and I did posted pictures and a video before of course 95% of the comments said they were Fake.So there is really no point of posting'em.If ppl doubt it the only way the'll believe if thet see one from 20-30 feet personally.Once u smelled thei musky odor and heard their screams then yo know there's agood chance you'll gonna see one.For me I'm satisfied that I KNOW the''re exist i don't feel the need to prove it
@Efenstor That's what Telus Sattelite is for.Actually there are communities around Like Liard River,pop.120 Liard Hot Springs pop.200 The Lower Post First Nation Reservation(where my kids go to school)pop.350 but the're not Towns.I'm on disability so if i have to go to the Pharmacy I have to go to Watson Lake Yukon pop 3400 it's 200km but for shoppin we go to Fort Nelson pop.10000 320 km.My closest neighbor Gordie and Matt a gay couple about 4-5 km I hope that satisfy you T6hanx 4 your comment
@jozsefkacsa you say a family group, how many do you think in the family, are there juveniles in the family group ? how often do you see them.. I am a part time researcher any info would be great thanks...
This is a black bear, standing on its hind legs to get a better view of what was making all the sound, before dropping, turning, and shambling away. Still a cool wildlife encounter!
@LonleyMother Or may be just a pointy top end of a hunter's hooded raincoat? Unfortunately through all these years the Patterson's footage remains the only one which is definitive in that the creature is not a human. Or still a human in a suit. The search and guessing will never end until somebody shoots one and brings it to the scientists. Or it just will... never end at all, in the case there is no such thing as yeti in this world.
What you have here is an encounter with Bigfoot. They are almost Completely Silent. They see you and make it a point to AVOID you. No need to fear it.
A bear highly unlikely that would be misidentification calling that a bear. You have to really think about it and ask yourself why a bear would move like that in that manner and would not the children who were present indicated that it was a bear? They obviously saw something that was not a bear but a Bigfoot. The movement is more of something that walks upright, and walking down the slope in an upright manner. Again the children would have stated "bear" if that was a bear they saw.
Bears stand and walk on hind legs only when attacking, reaching for something or in circus. :) How can it walk on four limbs in such a manner? I'm a long-time skeptic and debunker myself and seen a lot of (laughable) stuff, I think this is most probably a hooded man, not a bear. Or a bigfoot, but I strongly tend not to believe because of too little evidence collected in such a long period for such a large creature.
@Efenstor if it's to be real than I can say that the "walking " is not of a bear, the bear usualy walks on two legs for attack/counterattack, for colecting something that is above it, and acrobatics "Circus". What we see in this vid. is a walking biped creature that seems to be leaving the area, somehow in a hurry.
I've seen enough to know 100% that is a black bear on it's hinds taking a sniff and then walking off.. the bears movement is so typical.

Maybe he was scratching his back, or sharpening his claws at that tree on left side, that's why he was on his hind legs.
