  • The best version of this song is the live duo album "No Quarter" Unledded. In 1995 they toured together. Amazing DVD.

  • Robert & Jimmy are truly talented. This song is so incredibly beautiful.

  • Beautiful

  • The DVD version is longer than on the soundtrack. I'm saddened by that, because I would want to have every precious second of this song on the CD. In a way, I like to think this song reflects their relationship as collaborators, and how the music is their daughter. (compare 'our mutual child did grow' from ALS) When they get together the magick is fricken incredible and cannot be denied.

  • this song is geniussssss

  • This song is so beautiful, watching it live will leave a tear in your eye.

  • This is a little different than what came out on the album. They tweaked it in the studio taking some of the magic away.

  • I am waving a lighter in the air right now. Hopefully playing this song will give me a taste of what the late 60's and early 70's felt like.... ecstasy

  • I dont see how thats possible seeing how this was recorded in August 1994.

  • @420GuitarShredder The feeling the song gave to me. To me it didn't feel like it was made in 1994.

  • <3

  • What an awesome pic, both legends both gods!!

  • Plant/Page = Milk/Honey

  • This song is chillingly, hauntingly beautiful.

  • Thank you so very much for posting this. Seriously...:-)

  • GREAT job on this.Robert and Jimmy RULE!! I wish John Henry Bonham (BONZO) never died, can you imagine what LED-ZEPPELIN would sound like today,we will never know :( ROCK ON!!!!

  • incredible song

  • oh hey paul mccartney on the right :D

  • i like how he's not screaming in this one.

  • such a lovely song

  • @zeppelinforeverled my parents bought it in the 90's

    (young, but avid listener)

    still one of my favourites

  • This song is beautiful! But there's no album version- don't get me wrong I love this live, but why is there no album version? And good job with editing the audience out! :)

  • @CottonDooda it's been released on the "No Quarter" album, but that was a live album of sorts, no studio recordings on it

  • @CottonDooda I have studio and live versions on my ipod for songs that are available both ways and I find with Zeppelin the very best is live. The four of them were in their element when on stage. No other band in history have come together as one the way this band did.

  • @autumnstarrs Which is funny why, for the longest time. The Song Remains The Same was the only official document of Zeppelin live. The BBC sessions revealed some of the live potency of the band, and then How The West Was Won came out and blew the lid off. I haven't had access to bootlegs, and was too young to be part of Zeppelin when it was alive, so HTWWW was an eye opening experience. TSRTS was just so tired sounding. And THEN the DVD of live stuff came out a few years back, and oh man...

  • Is there a studio version of this song somewhere? I'd love to hear it.

  • @Jouwl no this is considered a "studio version" i took out the audience and etc and cleaned it up the best i could......i think it sounds very studio like but you be the judge ahaha

  • @LedZeppelinHD Good job,man. Right on!

  • @Jouwl it came out in the album no quarter.

  • Awesome, awesome, awesome.

  • One of the most beautiful songs in history!

  • @wajiha13 I got no reason to doubt you baby.
