  • I agree but I must say that a our local Walgreen's and CVS are on point. I think it's the store managers fault.

    I checked out at CVS today the guy was do scared that he was giving me something because he miss read the coupon but I quickly told him what the coupon said he apologized.

    Walmart it depend on cashier I don't like the older cashiers they act like I'm stealing and if the coupon does not match the item I'm know to make an occasionally mistake just bring it to my attention and I'll corre

  • Yes indeed it makes no sense to go through crap every time you go into a store to use a coupon. I live in Newton, MS and every time I go into my Walmart here there is a new rule. I have just given up on using coupons in Dollar General they just will not except my coupons there is always an excuse.

  • Its one thing that the cashier don't know the policies it might be their first day or they haven't been there long but what gets me is when the manager doesn't know it! How did they become a manager and not know the stores policy? It's crazy.

  • agree with you...you should set up a 'Couponers Unite - Day of Accountability'...pick a day and have us all hit their facebook pages on the same day....that way they could see our opinions one after the other after the other....keep us updated!

  • I agree. Posting bad experiences on their Facebook & Twitter pages will get their attention. I'm sure they wouldn't want a ton of negative experiences influencing their other customers/followers.

  • Amen! Every time someone has a problem with a store they should go to that stores facebook page & explain what happened! I believe more of the stores upper managements take a look at the facebook pages & possibly emails as opposed to hearing what happens when corporate is called bc it's only reps taking calls! That's definitely what I'm going to start doing & I got a feeling Walmart ends up being my 1st FB rant. I always have probs. with them. Thanks for the motivation!

  • Yep! I went to CVS last week for the glade deal....And there were two cashiers watching me because I had a my coupons out. Then when I got to the register they were so fuck*** rude and dumb! Basically b4 the cashier saw my coupons she started to look mad! Now I have certain store I go to....I cannot deal with no stress and drama! I just refuse to stress about a coupon.

  • agree...that simple...hit facebook epecially target and walgreens...target need to get out of the coupon business...if they don't want to abide by coupons actual facie value. I totally have given up on walgreens..sick of their filler crab. so CVS and Walmart is is for me, the only 2 stores worth shopping and now even CVS trying to get into no overage nonsense. CVS comeon, you know better, you dont' want to lose customers over this bs...thanks for posting this is crazy.

  • And before this Target I went to another one who called my Kreo-Transformer coupons bogus I was pissed because I had 4 coupons and I had grabbed the last 4 that I found in the store. The person said I put this coupons thru the machine and there no good we cant take them but it worked find on the 2nd Target I went thru. I am honestly getting tired of Target and calling corporate is just a waste of time in my case.

  • Then when I gave her the $4 off coupons she said I can't use it because she cannot allow me to walk out the store paying nothing for the bubbs. when she just finished ringing the kreo-Transformers. Did she not notice those where free also.She didnt seem like she wanted to wait for the manager so she let me use 1 $4 off coupon and I paid $4 for the other Bubbs that I am gonna take back.

  • told her that doesnt make sense (what if I wanted to price match bread, juice I can only take one) So she then called the manager and 2 min. later called back and said she didnt want the manager anymore and priced matched the 2 bubbs to $4.

  • I agree with you yesterday I went Family Dollar to look for the Scrubbing bubbles and did not see any so I grabbed the ad and took it to Target. I have had about 50 of these coupons and never see them in the stores so I was going to price match at Target. I had 15 coupons but I only took 2 Scrub.

  • u r right this is wht the company want us to do fight each other it takes the heat off them. we can,t huddle in a corner talk only to each other and expect to get something done .we must use youtube like the media use tv for their platform and put them on blast. most of the tiime the prices are to high anyway. when we r n line and the cashier do not no the policy it make us look like we r causing problems to the people around us like we want something for nothing .coupons r for us to use .

  • I have stood in line waiting on a manager to get a clue some times good and most not good as I stand there I say I don't get paid like they do and it makes me mad when a trans that should have been no more the say like 6-7 mins turns in to 45 mins this is so bs and the wy Walmart talks down & has discrimination towards us couponers the wy were r treated is not like the person who is not using qpons it needs to stop we should ALL post the same day like when ppl stp getting gas do 2prices we nee

  • Thank you so much for this video, I totally, totally agree with everything you said, what's the point of store policy if they don't follow what's on it, it's up to the manager or the cashier that's wrong, I'm tired of them telling me to get what ever it's on the picture of the coupon,or one per purchase not a tran.

  • Well said! You are beautiful, BTW! What make me mad is when the coupon makes the product FREE, the cashier will say, this is not right. Exp: The Nabiscoe Coupon $3/3. The Go packs are a $1 each making them free. I shopped 5 stores so I would not clear the shelves. But 3 out of the 5 stores did not want to take the coupon because it made the product free. I still walked out with my free Go Packs.

  • You are right on Priscilla!I couldn't of said it better myself!Its pretty bad when us consumers know more about the coupon policy and the stores rules then their OWN employees!!!I always say that!Every CVS in this world needs to be consistent,or why else even have a policy in the first place!All of these stores are allll over the place with their rules trying to tell us what to do when we know whats right and what the stores policy is!Its not fair to us and it is frusterating!Right on girl!

  • i live on the border with mexico, and before starting this couponing (or trying to). i use to go to mexico to do my basic necessity shopping there. the same colgate toothpaste that we see here for $4.00, is only $1.25 at the most. there is no Q's in mex.

    and so i dont think there is anything wrong with wanting to use a coupon to make this, or any, product lower their price. they jack their prices way too much hers in the U.S. i think we r being robbed. we shouldnt have to pay so much 4 basics

  • also, someone needs to file a class action suit... although they may cause them to not accept coupons at all... but we should look into it. A lot of these stores would have major major setbacks in profits if they stop accepting coupons. when an item isn't on sale or has no coupon, it'll sit there forever. As soon as there is a sale + coupon, shit is FLYING off the shelves. So I don't know why they don't appreciate our patronage.

She looked at me like I was crazy but guess what I told her the reason she is employed there is because I shop there. Every consumer that shops there is the boss because we pay the bills, try making it without us. So upsetting me is not good business because I pay the bills and I don't have to shop here.

  • Retail stores have such a high turnover rate and SEVERE lack of training. At every retail job I have held, I had to take it upon myself and learn the job.

    I HATE working retail because of the constant changes of management, lack of training and lack of overall employees who don't care.

  • Walmart - around thankgiving I priced matched 16 Neutragena shampoo/cond from K-mart ad for $1-the manager was called because of the number of items I priced matched. He saw the original price and told me "I" can't let you get an item that's almost $5 for a $1. I said -"you" are not giving me anything, This is 'Walmart' policy and I still have to pay a $1 for each so no one is "giving'" me anything. He asked if I had the aid so I showed him (although the aid wasn't required per the policy).

  • This is so FUNNY I have been say this for months, MONTHS... People we can BOYCOTT just like they did in the 1960's and i bet you thing will change JUST STOP SHOPPING IN THERE DAMM STORES.   • @ShaunieceCooks I agree about how they did it in the 60's, but these days, it faster and more effective for us to use the social media to voice our concerns.  Corporations don't want to see negative comments all over their Facebook page.

  • Happened to me today at Walmart. The clerk said I couldn't use more than one of the coupon I had saying I was doubling coupons. Really i am doubling for real. Moron...I am like no the coupons aren't doubling I am using 1 coupon per item which is allowed....He went to get them manager to make sure because he wasn't sure. I hate Walmart as it is because the one closest to me is OVERPRICED. I never can find the deals like everyone else, if a youtubers says its .99cents at Walmart its usually 2.99.

  • Yes, yes, yes! been couponing since 10/18/11 and have had a few 'wtfmoments' as I like to call them. Walgreens- Monday I did the Triaminc deal use 2/$2 off Q's along with the flurry bar and 10 Tuf. I used a $10 RR to help pay but the $5 RR for the Tri did not print. I told the cashier and she calls the manager. He proceeded to TRY to convince me that the RR did not print because I used the $2 Q's.

  • I agree with you. I think if a store gives one couponer a problem other couponers should come to their defense. Something like - maybe - dropping off a expired coupon on the counter of customer service counter letting them know we know what you did to a fellow couponer.

I love my walmart now but initially I had to show the manager the coupon policy and she thanked me, after she was so nasty to me!!!

  • Agreed! I hate using coupons at Walmart, Target and Safeway. They always give me a hard time even if I have their coupon policy in hand. BTW, I'm also in the DC area.

    However, as a Walmart employee, not all of the people at the checkouts are actual cashiers bc they save labor money by using people to cashier outside of their usual job duties. Due to this, sometimes the employee will mess up because their not trained to know these things, and quite frankly, Walmart doesn't care because all they want to do is save money. This has never happened to me, but if it happens at Walmart specifically, now you know.

  • @riotgrrrrl1288 Oh, I'm pretty sure that NOT everyone at Walmart or any other store is guilty of not knowing the policy, and I'm sure its not most of their faults. I'm making this a general statement because I can't single out every single person at each store. I think the stores have a responsibility to train EVERYONE on their store policy, no what position they hold.

  • Very well said. The stores and their lack of properly training the employees is the real problem. The coupon policies should absolutely be adhered to company-wide, and not be allowed to be interpreted any way a specific manager at a certain store sees fit. That is asinine. And yes, we should never be attacking each other. We should be standing up for our rights as couponers.
