@metiormami You can convert any camera with night-vision to see these infrared objects. Just cover the lens with a blank square of photo negative and make sure no other light gets it. Bang on night-vision and go hunting. I expect to see your videos soon.

I was very lucky with this one, the start of this video is the actual time I pressed record. If you've got everything set up correctly and the conditions are right you might get lucky and get something the same day, or it might take a month or so.

It's pretty easy. It must be a clear sunny day. Video the edge of the sun with a tripod. You can also see this with the naked eye. What you are looking at in this video is clumps of slow moving pollen.

I was sent your video and I do agree with you, alot of what you see is pollen, flies and insects. You just hightlight everything that is next to whatevery is blocking the sun. You can see them in this video. The objects in this video are clearly some distance away and flying in a controlled manner. Look at the trees, its gusty. If it is pollen they are probably several feet across, fly in formation, defy wind and reflect IR light. I've been doing this along time now and know the difference.

@delldesktop5566 I didn't watch it quit good enough. I do see what you are talking about with the ones far away in formation. Usually these videos are just pollen, dust or snow flakes. There is quit a bit of debris close up in this video but for sure the ones way out are indeed in formation. Pretty cool.

Being over Southampton, the objects could, conceivably, be high flying seagulls. Could be, but not convinced. More intrigued by the various objects that streak across the viewfinder, for example, at 58 seconds and several times after. I think you have definitely got something odd there. If you had gen 3 FLIR night vision you would see a lot more than just a few orbs in the sky. Their is a whole new world waiting to be identified just living it up in the atmosphere and space. Most of them ' UFO's as they haven't been id' yet, but look at the big picture some of these are living entities, not space ships.move very fast and are huge ( miles wide ). just sky jelly-fish.

Interesting... i would be more impressed if there was an actual formation type pattern. It all looks random almost like a fleet of baloons. Is it possible that the balloons are radiating or reflecting heat generated by the sun?

Fair point, what sort of pattern would you like them to fly in? Take a look at some of the more well known ufo fleets. There is no pattern. You must have seen a load a helium balloons let off before? They don't have these characteristics do they? these objects are flying along parrellel to the ground and almost locked in position. Balloons flop about all over the place whilst travelling upwards.

I see rods. What`s up with that? You can`t visually see them but they always show up on camaera? Some say flying insects,( I know a bug flying past when i see it regardless of the zoom) but, wouldn`t you be able to spot them eventually with the naked eye? I think you are right . .these are NOT balloons. At first i thought maybe they were, but even with a steady wind there are currents within the wind and eddys , so it would be impossible say for three balloons as you sowed 'holding' a perfect triangular formation so precisely.

was looking closely at the orbs and seemed to notice an awful lot of 'rods' ? in the forground also?

Pilot balloons are an old fashioned way of measuring wind in the upper atmosphere and are not used anymore except in specialized areas.

Also only let off one at a time so this rules out 'pilot balloons'

I checked with the Met Office. So called "pilot balloons" are released routinely each day at 1100 hrs GMT, and tracked via theodolite for 2 -3 hours, to get accurate observational data on wind speeds and direction at different altitudes. They have different optical reflective properties depending on the contrast needed for visual observations. ( eg black when cloudy, white against blue sky, red for sunny days) They are most often used for airports weather/wind shear monitoring.....

I was just expressing my interpretation of your recording. There could indeed be a multitude of different explanations for these objects, but my comment about the lanterns is quite accurate. There are plenty of examples of this even on Youtube!. They are popular where I live, and have been mistaken before for "UFOs", or "orbs", even in bright sunshine ( which can enhance the effect!). Of course there are other atmospheric phenomena that, to the untrained eye, seem ephemeral in nature, but are

In reality perfectly explainable eg sprites, elves, plasma balls, earth lights, etc etc.I assume your recording was in near IR as the buildings etc are still visible. Objects not emitting any heat would be dark or invisible at this frequency, again this makes these objects likely to be driven by a heat source. Do you have an alternative explanation for what they are ( for example we put something like 300 weather balloons per day into the stratosphere for climatology study just in the UK alone).

Chinese lanterns is a plausable explaination but I don't think your going to get people randomly letting off these lanterns on a very blustery sunny saturday afternoon at 1pm.Plus I live in small town on the edge of the New Forest where nothing like that ever goes on.

I did make a point in looking for these objects with the naked eye during the film, but couldn't see anything.This is in IR using a 950nm IR pass filter, 2.0x tele converter lens and a 0.45 wide angle lens. Then switch two B&W

Thnaks for the info on how you filmed these. What IS interesting is that they were only visible in IR. That opens up a whole new question. What kind of objects have a heat signature but do not emit light in the visible spectrum?. That is puzzling. Cannot really go with the idea of "demonic entities", though as a scientist I try to keep an open mind about any unexplained phenomenon, until proven one way or another.

Given more thought to this. The objects are transparent to visible light but detected in near IR. This suggests a stretched mylar type material ( not aluminim coated nylon as used in party balloons!) which is translucent to white light but reflects 90% IR at the frequency you were recording. 950 nm or less is just into the near IR range, used in devices such as remote controls etc, so thermal effects are minimal. I now suspect these are tracer balloons used to monitor wind speed/shear/direction.

the WHOLE formation moves quick and stop within 1 sec. to the "normal speed"! Take the roof for reference! The only explanation could be a compression error, that speed the footage up within 1 sec.

I see what you mean, I checked the original footage and it's still the same. I wasn't using a Tripod at the time so I think I must have moved sideways giving the illusion the objects moved abruptly.

I thought that too, but only the objects move, not the roof itself. But maybe you are right, because of the distance difference of roof/objects. That can cause the illusion if you move.

Hi Thomas, It's obvious it's not balloons, they randomly float around in the wind. These are are in steady formation.

I reported the 'hovering IR UFO' to MUFON but I dont think I'll bother any more. I'm doing this for myself and my like minded friends such as yourself.

This is pretty much all of it, with the sun position having a major part in this sort of thing they just disappeared out of view.

Can you next time screw off the IR lens? It could be VERY interesting (like the two camera footage) if they only seen in IR, or normal spectrum as well. Let`s see who is the first ;-) if I catch such massive slow flying objects, I will show if they only seen in the IR spec. You and I know the truth. They are here, but our next aim should be: Raise the quantity of people who know it too!
