I was born in Detroit and now live in Seattle. I got to see this show and it was great. But I must mention Seattle music fans are a limp-wristed bunch. This show would have been better in Detroit. But, fuck, it was a great none the less. And when I left the venue I didn't have to worry about getting jumped.
in another clip tom morello mentions it cost 15 bucks to get in.Kinda makes a mockery of some of these stadium show prices dont it hahah where you get to see alittle ant sized person--or watch them on the big screen...hahah
3/1/2009 in NEW YORK! DONT May 1st 2009 at the Nokia Theater New York City Road Recovery show Honoring Wayne Kramer- Performances AGAIN by Tom Morello, Perry Farrell, IGGY POP, Jerry Cantrell, Wayne Kramer, Billy Bragg and MORE suprise guests!!! $25 on ticketmaster now! 5/1/2009 Nokia Theater NY- only $25
is that matt cameron on drums and ben shepherd on bass also?
this proves tom morello was previously jamming with the wrong member of soundgarden... i bet chris cornell wishes audioslave was a fraction this badass.
Thanks for getting this up so quickly - great to relive this show just a few hours later!!! Such a crazy, surreal night - astounding music, splendid remodel of the Croc and tremendous people :-)
RAGE JAM

Drums: Jimmy Chamberlain ( The Smashing Pumpkins )

This is an interesting supergroup :)
Looks like Tom has almost found this perfect dream band
Rage was good, but its time to move on something more rocking
Audioslave was an experiment but it didnt last ...
so now time for something true and endearing to todays music politics
THE MC5 with Mudhoneys singer, Soundgardens guitar god and finally Tom Morello ....it almost makes sense
but i would of had Krist Novoselic on bass and Jimmy Chamberlain from The Smashing Pumpkins :)

It seems more and more like RATM was Morello's band, not De La Rocha's, as evidenced by what he has accomplished since the 2000 breakup.
