Which parts of this show were used in the movie and which songs and scenes were re-filmed? I am a little upset the DVD says it was the Final Performance when they re-filmed most of it

they should have had adam pascal and anthony rapp be mark and rodger for the last performance because noone is as good as them for those parts! noone can replace their amazing voices and their acting abilities either. the mark and rodger in this one are kinda bad actuallyy. other than that this was a good cast.

aww i would have loved to be there at the last show!!! i saw it on aug 4, 08 and the energy was pretty much just as high but it would have been amazing to be there!

so were they filming this one for the "live on broadway one"? cause i know that there were cameras on stage for the filming.... but it doesnt seem like it? i also recognize line delivery from watching it so much :D

I wish I lived in America... I've always wanted to see this show, but could never afford to go to New York, and now I won't be able to see it! :( (I know it was also in London for a while, but that version was so far from the original show, it might as well have been giving an altogether different name.) Still, hopefully it'll come back one day, and when it does I'll make sure I have enough money to go see it!

I so wish I could have been there for the final preformance. I went August 30th, the last week it was playing. I hope one day it returns to Broadway.

I love how everyone was clapping for so long in the beginning. I t was almost like no one wanted the end of RENT to come, but we all new that it had to.
