  • FUCK VIRGIN MEDIA - this video took me 5 minutes to load, week in week out there are new problems with our virgin internet, tv, phone, incompetent servicemen, idiotic phone reps, overcharging...it's torture, fucking torture. Well done criminals you've stolen our money and made our lives a misery. I thought BT was awful, but this is true misery. Looking back at BT Homehub bullshit seems like the glory days compared to this. Literally every single part of the service has been revolting.

  • It took me fifteen minutes to get through the automated system to be told " sorry we are busy , rather than you waiting on hold(which I wanted to) they cut me off. I have had 10mb broadband for for months at £16 pcm and installation of £40 .. £104 total yes .. I have paid £72 and now they are telling me I will be cut off iff I do not pay £67 more , for what, the fuckin joy of having to spend loads from my mobile phone waiting on hold and being cut off .... tossers. anyone else being over charged

  • Cant fault the vip package mate,all tv channels,unlimited landline and 20 meg unlimited download broad band.We have 2 of their HD boxes and one set top running as well.............still WAYYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper than Sky [which is owned by a gangster incidentely!]........just dont and I mean dont touch their mobile phone network,that really sucks!!

    A decent reputable ISP would have the knowledge every single time to work out whats wrong with it in the first place, VM dont seem to be able to grasp the concept of actually working out whats wrong with their lines.

    A decent ISP would have the common decency to work this one out and get it fixed immediately, not obvious to these dickheads of a company.

    Its cheap shoddy programming, probably programmed by an infant in school (because they cant afford to get decent programmers to do it for them)

  • @andrew8833 People dont get to seem that its not the agent on the phones fault they cannot tell you why the line is dead, There is only so much they can do, it could be a cable damaged which is the job of the engineer to check out, And you have obv not seen the new TV, search for Virgin Media TiVo and watch the demo video looks really good

    I wasnt talking about the phones, though I doubt their very good, but their software programmings awfull for the likes of their Interactive stuff.

    Its like a 10 year old getting into programming has been working on it, just so they can save some expenditure, surely a big company like that would invest in good workers so they can actually get their jobs done properly.

  • @andrew8833 Well i have just told you about TiVo from them which the interface looks better and runs smoother than the last TV interface and offers more from sky, And good luck with finding a better ISP, Im not even a Virgin customer and think their better than the rest, Ofcom have even stated they are the best for internet BT line is shite and they cap areas as i stated a while back without telling people before they sign up

  • Virgin Media has been the fastest and most stable internet I've had over the years. I'm quite happy with them. Far better than talktalk/bt/sky.

    My only problem is that I want to pay my bill BUT I CANT FIND ANY CONTACT NUMBER ON THE WEBSITE AT ALL.

    I want to give them money but they dont have phones...?

  • I actually work for Virgin media in the call centre and we are educated actually a lot of us are at university and second of all richard branson isis only a shareholder not the owner, its only his brand name thats used.

  • @1rrjo6cm Was quite amusing when I complained to the ISPA, its still shit though, so going to investigate a loop hole I have found through Ofcom, seems as though if your not getting the service you promised, a customer has every right to cancel, costing no more than the price of canceling the contract, minus the min term.

    Going to be hilarious when I tell them to stick their pathetic service where the sun dont shine, also can include you in that statement pml.

  • @andrew8833well people who are serious about freelancing should really be on a business account, you would only be able to claim for loss of service and get credited on your bill, so your solicitor is not going to get very far for business loss since your only a regular account holder, And i really doubt you alone could hammer their reputation, Every ISP has their flaws. Sky broadband told me my line supported 10-20mb, was getting slow speeds phoned up and was told my line could only support 3mb

  • V m is not at all recommended especially the broadband Internet  where u tend to lose signal every so often despite talking to customer service and the same thing keeps happening in a day or two.disgraceful

  • The other day I upgraded to the new 50Mbit connection and they cut me off 4 hours after it was installed due to the fees of getting it installed put me over my credit limit. None of the fees they said were there were mentioned to me nor could I see them on the web page when trying to spot them.

    VirginMedia constantly disconnects without warning and takes over a week to tell you. I can remember 4 times they've done it to me before the bill arrived.

  • i think your find if you search on the net that most people arnt that impressed with vm and there incompetent admin skills, i kept getting charged early and for services i dont even have so had to cancel my direct debit with them as they never paid the money they stole back, then they kept my card details and carried on useing them anyway and again stealing money, and the fair useage policy is now from 10am - 9pm, and i havnt even used my net today and its capped from 10mb down to 1mb, useless
