  • @ssgokuliu Lots of planchie's,,,, every night before you sleep Planchie,,,, I run all my poses before i sleep though.. everyone is different.. do what works for you. some people weight lift.. some people dont at all and still do fine.

  • @Thickpaper1 hold longer till your leg goes through, and use other arm to catch. its a shifting body weight kinda move

    it took me 5 months to learn windmills and im still practicing flares and its been 4 months now and i cant even do 2!!!

  • @EmmanuelQuiambao 5 month to get windmills??!?!!?!? you must not be practicing very hard it took me 3 weeks just to get 5. 7 weeks to get 15!

  • @MsMaconBacon no. its more muscle work , windmill is all momentum work.

  • @davidlim95 ahhm lol i've started learning it since 2008 but my practices were on and off and has a pretty long lapse in between so if you're gonna sum up the total of days i practiced it would only be a total of 6 months i think

    do you have flares btw?oh and guessing by your name are u a Filipino?

    that used to be my problem to back then...maybe you can try to stall for a bit when you're in front then lift the sweeping leg up then really swing the nonsweeping leg under the sweeping leg(u can try swinging it back a bit so you can easily swing it under the sweeping leg arrgh its hard to explain)then keep the sweeping leg as long asyou can in the air...

  • hahah my flare now is trully a one now round thanks to the coffee grind thing

    i followed his 3 steps:

    1. swing and kick

    2. place ur hand down( i kinda naturaly learned this as i was practicin flare for a long time now)

    3.coffee grind...now here's a tip! just as when you are about to swing ur right leg under the left leg, try to point your right foot's toes then hold the left leg near to ur body as long as you can! hahah

  • I need help with my flares, and windmills, or any spin moves. I freeze on my dominant side my right side. but when i attempt spin moves i go to my left? According to you i have to go the same way as my dominant side, and im having trouble getting into that. Can anyone or your help?

  • After 1 month of exercising your first exercise to get flare, I'm starting to feel way stronger on both of my arms and my legs and I'm able to swing with power. Thanks a lot. This is an underrated tutorial. It works really well and most bboys should exercise moves instead of just rushing to it. I finally got one ugly flare (when trying), but I'm still exercising until I can do a clean one.

  • i got a problem with my flare, how come when i start it, my right leg keeps bending and my left leg goes through with no problem, and i go the same way as you, that part just keeps stopping me from learning flares...

  • @AAO503 It's a shame, I do not understand English well if you can do the trick translation from youtube and thank you ... I want to know where is the foundation for a beginner and advices

  • @silvantmort123 flare is mostly muscle work.. if you can't hold yourself up,, you will need to practice until you can... flare is a complex move. very complex i should say. takes lots of practice to perfect and takes time to understand each step while in motion... Key is to be able to hold your body weight.

  • @AAO503 if flares were simple, would not have needed 20 min. to explain it. Probably, he knows the simple form (swing 1 leg, ect..) but he want know your detailed version, to get tips and secrets hidden on flares! :D

    Keep it up, giving up is not an option;)
