I've had vonage for over 2 years now. I haven't dropped any calls. Now, I can call all over the world to several countries for free to a landline. At only $14.99 a month, its a steal. Works fine, I had to call 911 once, and it worked fine. Clear as a bell.

Bullshit, I am a customer which makes me a shareholder to vonage because I own a piece of them. the Vonage equipment. I love it and will not stop.. Vonage is about people coming together to stop the high prices of original landlines. M'kay.. do you understand.. Go Vonage and save, all technology is the same!

I have had vonage for a couple months now and it works great. I havent had any lost calls ro echoes. Once I had to reboot the modem but that took 3 minutes then it worked fine. My mom has a magicjack and she called me the other day, it sounded like a traditional home phone, very clear. I hope vonage doesnt go under, I pay $20 a month for unlimited long distance. As long as you have good internet and a descent computer, it should work fine.

Vonage is doomed. On top of all this there is the Magic jack that is 15 times cheaper than vonage for just $20 a year $1.67 a month it under cuts vonage price by a lot.

AWFUL!!! VONAGE IS DISGRACEFUL - I have endured a variety of substandard, even crappy customer service situations, but no such experience was as infuriating as our dealings from Vonage. Vonage intentionally misled me and a number of other potential customers into understanding that its digital phone service would work with the current AT&T DSL service we had at the time. What a crock a sh*t.

Don't even think of ordering this service unless you have 2 separate phone lines or stand alone DSL service going into your house. Vonage did not tell us -- despite direct questions on our part -- that a special DSL service (stand alone) would need to be installed by our internet provider. They informed us that our present DSL service, over a phone line, would be fine.

(CONT) But instead a 'dry loop DSL' service is required (and this runs over $50 a month, at least from AT&T). In addition, the Vonage sales reps did everything to discourage us from contacting our IP to disconnect our phone service (Vonage would handle that, according to the rep).

But rather than being a helpful, convenient gesture by Vonage, we are instead convinced that Vonage undertook this role of contacting AT&T to disconnect our phone service knowing full well that AT&T would alert us to the need for a separate, distinct DSL stand alone service.

Attempts to get credit have been nothing short of frustrating with Vonage reps (seemingly with a gun to their heads) constantly pushing additional services or another free month of service. Vonage was granted to stay around as a corporation becuase the courts found no evidence what so ever on Verizon's side. Vonage as well is not paying a dime towards Verizon. Try picking up the phone and speaking with Verizon customer service agents...not a pleasant event.

Vonage was granted a stay and got another pat. Well I have Vonage works great and its says in verb when you sign up that it does not work during power failures DUH, also your cordless phone plugged into wall will not work.

If I lose power, I will just use my cell phone. The thing is, I have lived in this house for 3 years and never lost power. I mean, how ofthen do people lose power to their house anyway? And, almost everyone has at least 1 cell phone in their house to fall back on.

I use vonage at home and at work and the service is great. I have always had good luck with their customer service. The quality is good and the international rates are very cheap. Im happy vonage is still able to sign customers, but if they go down there is always AT&T Callvantage to use. NBD.
