Tom Jane backed out, they are basically going to the comics for real and making at violent and gruesome as the comics (at least the max comics).
This trailer wasn't that appealing, but Ray looks like the comic version of Frank Castle and the Red Band trailer is totally nuts! Its hyper violence to the rescue.

i dont think this is a sequel to the one with the one in 04, and the first one was made in 89 with dolp lundgren, not thomas jane. and by the way, jane pulled out of the sequel and thats one reason why it took a while to make another one
