i really dont agree with tyra... its just soo PC i mean sure we shouldnt juge people and be mean to them but on the other hand we shouldnt lie to people and say its ok to be overweight and obese because that an health issue its why when ur overweight and u go to the doctors they tell you your at risk for a lot of stuff. now theres people who have medical resons why they are overweght but for most people being in a healthy weight rage is attable.

@sxcboy4u If people were, genuinely, concerned about people's health and just wanted them to get healthy, that's one thing. But to say that people are "disgusting" for not being a size 2 is the issue. We want people to be skinny, not healthy. Health isn't the factor motivating those women dissing the bigger girls.

i have a weight problem and i was pretty fat i started watching what i ate and exersideing and im still not the ideal but i am in a health weght rage and im feeling more fit and allround more healthly. i have to tell you the turth when i see really fat people i do think the need to do what i did i mean i dont make fun of them but for most people being in a healthly weight rage is attanable and i think people should encouge that insted of just saying that thery fine the way they are

I have to disagree with the consensus of the women here: it is definately NOT largely accepted (at least by the male community) men being fat. In my own personal opinion I think it's easier for women because they're MEANT to have fat on their bodies: estrogen equals fat. They can put on and it melds right onto their natural shape. With men on the other hand, they're meant to have muscle which is harder to get.

@misskelly719 well,there was a period of time,when tyra retired from modelling and gained lots of weight and there were pictures of her on the beach around the internet where she really didn't look like a model she looked like an ordinary woman,but she stood for herself because she's a realistic confident woman not because she's a model.
