  • cool it looked good now i am definitely gonna try it. suggestion: smile in your model shots cause you look great.

  • @Ginajam84 Thank you!! Hope it works for you too :)

  • Nice video girlfriend! Natural oils are the best treatment for hair.A friend suggested argan oil so i bought an oil i liked the look of from amazon and the difference has been night and day. It is silky and soft and can be styled easily. The oil i got was from london, england by mama nature called pureargan. It was not cheap but it lasts ages. Its also one of the rarest oils in the world.

  • and I'm scared to use any kind of gel no matter how good it's presumed to be. I use fantasia ic styling gel to tame my straight baby hairs , and I think the longer your hair is...then the better your wash and go's will come out cause my hair is almost BSL and shrinks to my neck when wet. So ithink I'm just going to wait till my hair grows longer then we'll see. Ha buy very nice video. Came out nice- marvelous :p

  • I rarely ever do wash and go's.. I always fail after every attempt. My curl pattern is very loose and it's hard to define my curls and on top of that, my hair is like 3 diff. Textures..

  • very cute!! 2nd and 3rd day hair always look better to me for some reason lol

  • @msladybugmecca Thank you! I think so too!!

  • I just want to pay you a compliment sister...you are really beautiful.

  • @AnnisaAyana Thank you hun, I appreciate that!

  • So thanks to you i have mastered my wash and go!!! Now when i have that "ima b late for school" hair crisis i have a go to hair style :) woo hoo

  • @brea93lover yay! :)

  • I don't belong here and don't know how I ended up here, but I liked it.

  • @screwsalliemaedebt lol, thanks for visiting!

  • luv it , finna go look for this product

  • i really like the results, i am gonna go buy a jar today

  • this looks great! but what did you do at nights to maintain the style??

  • @msMoxie94 I slept with a satin bonnet

  • I did mine, but it didn't move as much as yours & my scalp was kinda itchy ! but the results were really pretty ! But it was kinda hard. Maybe i used too much ?

  • @AyoAlanna Hmm...maybe experiment with a different conditioner underneath.

  • the pictures were funny:P..

  • @nijahmeid Thanks! :)

  • Love your curls!

  • @TamaraSheax3 thanks hun!

  • @tonidaley80 girl.... It worked!! Lol I forgot to put the conditioner last time so maybe thats why it didn't come out nice but I tried it again and I am feeling it! :-) definitely glad I subscribed.

  • @tonidaley80 I tried it...it didn't come out as nice as yours but it might be because I used the pink Eco styler gel instead of the olive oil so my hair didn't have as much shine and I had MAJOR shrinkage but I did see those coils and curls which is cool cause I didn't think I could have a curl pattern without my hair being wet, twisted out or braided out. I'll try it again when I get the olive oil gel cause I HATE dry looking hair.

  • @jessicabambii aww, sorry it didn't work out...hopefully you find the right combination that will work

  • Love it! We have the Exact same texture and length, very excited to have a hair twin because I love my hair just, I just hate how dry and wooly it gets because I haven't gotten all the proper products for it yet

  • @jessicabambii Thank you! I totally understand the dry wooly thing, lol

  • love this style. i will try this out.....

  • @DRCurry1981 thank you! I hope it works for you too!!

  • @tonidaley80 Gorgeous!!! now how did u keep it? Did u put oil in it after it dried? Did u sleep with a satin scarf or bonnett and if so, did u twist it, bantu knot it, what? I love to watch for ideas, but i mainly watch for the know how. Please i'm alwats stuck on the end result. Thanks sweetie.

  • @9keykey Thank you! I slept with a satin scarf and fluffed with coconut oil in the morning

  • I use ecostyler. love it. im on 2 months in but i hope i can get to your length. I love the look on you!

  • @TheKela1980 thank you!

  • Never tried that before can't wait to see how it turns out (^_^)b

  • ok, I'm going to have to get the Eco Styler Gel with Olive Oil. I have the Eco Styler Gel with Moroccan Argan Oil. I'm just now starting my natural hair phase so I hope everything goes good

  • @PNKFRK84 hey, good luck on your natural hair journey! The argan oil eco styler gel should work just as well too!

  • How long have you been natural?

  • @DayeDayeX not sure...maybe 5 years, i dont really keep track

  • My hair is only 6inches right now - do you think it would look ok if I did this?

  • @shayshaybaby99 yes!

  • How do you use the Eco Styler gel without getting white flakes in your hair? Every time I try to use it, it just makes my hair flat and flaky. It doesn't define my curls at all, but I'm seeing so many videos showing women using Eco Styler gel to define their curls and it looks great! Do you have to use a very little bit?

  • @SichanKitty I used a generous amount of the product but never by itself, always on top of another product. Have you tried using a light oil to refresh and get rid of flakes?

  • @tonidaley80 No, I have not tried that yet. But I will!! Thanks so much! <3

  • @SichanKitty Hi I saw your comment and I thought gel wasn't supposed to flake unless it has alcohol in it? Are you using an alcohol free gel?

  • @squirrelsinmykoolaid I'm using the same Eco Styler Gel as tonidaley80 is in the video. She didn't get those evil white flakes, lol. Using oil like she recommended really helped to get rid of them, but if you know a gel that doesn't flake at all, that would be helpful too :D

  • @SichanKitty Lol I have the same gel as in the video too. :P It hasn't flaked on me so far but maybe it's because I was layering products as informed by the video.

  • @squirrelsinmykoolaid Well, as I said, when I followed her advice, it didn't flake, lol.

  • Love your videos. So helpful and your voice is relaxing :-)

  • @CalledAndChosen3 thank you!

  • Love your videos. So helpful and your voice is relaxing :-)

  • i wish my hair was as long as urs......i am just one month natural ..i cant wait for long hair. do u have any advice for my hair to get longer?

  • @Cantstoplovingyou97 Your hair will get there...just keep it well moisturized and be gentle with it

  • How long have you been natural?

  • @shanked101 5 years maybe? lost count

  • thanks for this my hair type looks very much like yours and i think i would get the same result <3

  • @tyronerodriguezuno no problem! i hope it works for you too :)

  • I live in Toronto and i was wondering where can i get eco styler gel.

  • @LaNina50 beauty supply store

  • eco styler doesnt work for me help me. thank you nice hair btw

  • @crazylittleliar223 really? awww, that sucks...maybe you can try out some other curl activator gels.

  • @tonidaley80 sure will do, thanx

  • @crazylittleliar223 Try IC Fantasia gel, I believe that is what it is. It dries faster than eco, leave way less white buildup if you want to use a leave in and even if it does it dries very quick. And when I switched from eco and IC hair polishing gel my husband mom actually commented on my curls. Unlike with the eco she would look as me kind of weird, cause my curls looked weighed down and my hair was white.

  • @linkin5961 ok thank you because i tried some stuff called hawian something i forgot the name but it was to watery for my hair since i have thick hair i wanted to try something thick but not bulky to the point thers build up. thank you again i really appreciate it. :D

  • @linkin5961 No prob. I will say though when I first used it I thought It was to light for my thick hair. Like the gel itself wasn't thick enough and I was ready to get rid of it. But once I played with it enough, I finally love it. My husband likes how my hair look and last night said it looks curlier with this gel than eco. But in the end you may have to do what most have to do, trial and error to find what works best for you.

  • I like how you style your hair. Quick question: Does the gel you use leave a sticky finish? I have found that to be the case on my hair although I do like the look.

    Preciate your comments! Thanks!

  • @anhapril no the eco didn't feel sticky on my hair. When I used kinky curly it felt really sticky...i hated how it felt!

  • @tonidaley80 Thanks! I'm tired of buying products with mixed results so I appreciate you replying to my message!

  • Thank you again!!!!!!! I just love you outlook!

  • What is that earing thing hanging in the background? Looks like something I need.

  • @letmeseeok link is in the description box

  • Oh my gosh I LOVE YOUR MAKE-UP!! SO PRETTY :)

  • Shoot ever since I stopped putting Perm in my hair da ladies love my hair even more!

  • I just want to tell you that I like your demeanor, you seem like a cool calm and collected person, nothing to do with hair but definitely a compliment :)

  • @tiprenee I appreciate that, thank you!

  • >.> I am so gonna do this to my hair now... Ty :D

  • Please, how long do your curls last when you curl your hair??? By the way you have VERY pretty natural hair!!

  • @lovaurl thank you! usually about 3 days

  • Why can't all black women be like her? I hate the super straight ponytail crap.

  • @TheAgnostiic

    lmao

  • I love me some hair that has some kinks, and curls in it.

  • @itsgirardm thank you!

  • girl your fly do you mind your hair being pulled during sex?

  • your hair looks amazing!

  • @manns5175 thank you!

  • I love your hair it is the cutest thing. Also, you can get bigger sizes of the Eco gel. I go to a beauty supply store in my area and purchase a 5lb tub of ECO styler gel, the clear kind. Much better than the small ones that are over priced in my opinion.

  • I generally like your vids but can you talk a bit louder?

  • @TyraNeche nope

  • @TyraNeche what kinda video editor do you have? if iMovie you can turn the volume up. i'd appreciate it, if not, happy vlogging to you

  • @TyraNeche nope, i dont have imovie...happy vlogging to you

  • 17 year old African American male. And I am Glad to see black women with their natural hair. I have a mom with locs for 2 years, and a sister with locs. I am so glad, because I am proud of my woman. That shows you have pride, and don't care about what society thinks of you. And to some woman, natural hair doesn't mean dont wash, treat, moisturize it. I still want you to look nice. So dont be afraid to let your natural hair show. Short, Long, I love it all.

    Supporting My Black Woman

  • @sambam2694 thanks so much for commenting! I really appreciate the positive feedback from a male perspective :)

  • @sambam2694 i agree with you

  • did you twist it first?

  • @candygirl3402 i showed all my steps in the video

  • You have the same hair as my 7 yr old transitioning daughter. Thank goodness I found your channel. I made the mistake of relaxing her hair but at least now I have some idea of what to expect with her hair. Thank you for your videos. I'm subscribing right now.

  • @ninam06 Thanks so much! Glad it helped :)

  • What is your hair type? I love it!

  • @TandAwatson1 hey, thanks hun! i have type 4 hair. fine z pattern strands

  • i like..

  • I remember growing my hair as a little boy with nice texture that looked so mixed although we have mixture in the family only 2 mixed generations separate us. My black female friends were like "cut your hair off and give it to us". I got rid of my massive hair because i could no longer cope with the mass. It was just too much. I have spinning waves all over my hair. Black hair is amazing. Black people have different hair texture that looks completely different from one another.

  • nice video

  • @mswanniet thank you!

  • I clapped at the end of this video.

  • @MKeana thank you!

  • First of all your make-up looks so pretty here! second, I really don't recommend using a wash-out conditioner as a leave-in but of course do as you wish :)

  • @gggrinz.....yes, everyone's hair is different so only do what works for you!

  • @gggrinz Using a wash-out conditioner as a leave-in in my 3b hair is the thing that's worked for me best! But to each their own.

  • @MissDarcei Okay well I'm glad that it has worked for you. If you're going to do that I'd still advise you to at least try to stick with all natural conditioners that don't contain any synthetic chemicals that can harm your hair if left on.

  • @MissDarcei I concur!

  • Black man here and i like to say i love Black women with natural hair styles. Really show me she is super confident in her self, and its sexy and they can style it in a million way. i got love for my African Queens and yeah not all black guys are jerks, i am a gentleman right here so keep on marching on. one day i hope to find my Black or African queen.

  • @MRbossman1982 thank you for your comment!

  • @MRbossman1982 Beautiful comment :)

  • @MRbossman1982 Thank you for posting this! I receive so much negative feedback from my black brothers than I do from any other culture. It's nice to know that not all my people are ignorant to our ethnicity.

  • @anitrabarron Its no biggie. I mean when i hear that black men out there dissing black women over their hair styles it upsetting to me., Black men should up lift Black women not put down, and personaly i am more attracted to Women with natural hair so its win win for me.i am trying to get more Black women to stop relaxing geta big chop and grow it out the way their hair suppose to look.

  • I LOVE UR HAIR

  • The end result was good!

  • @ThatDoll25 Thank you! I sleep with a satin bonnet and I use coconut oil to refresh in the morning

  • Ok thanks!. because like you said i see alot of others using it!

  • Is putting all the gel in the hair bad for it, or is eco a good product for natural hair?

  • @MsNicole612 it's up to the individual and the needs of their hair...you can google the ingredients to decide for yourself

  • Looks great!

  • @jusny4u thank you!

  • @spoiledgurl2010 I have fine hair strands with a 'z' pattern that show no curl definition when wet with no product

  • gorgeous!! Love it! I have just decided to go natural recently. I think it's only been about 1/2 a month now LOL but before this i used to relax my hair and stopped that about 10 years ago and have been using a texturizer ever since. I now want to go completely natural.

  • So I can use my condtioner as a leave in and it won't hurt my hair?

  • @MsBabyBoppa It depends on the conditioner. You could visit the website Tightly Curly(dot)Com. She lists certain conditioners which she calls "combing conditioners" that is okay to use as a leave in. Hope this helps:)

  • @Joekool5599 that's great!! i'm glad it worked for you!!

  • I have used this gel on and off, nice definition but when I used it, Its gets crunchy. Does the conditioner help soften the crunch? After a few months of using it, I still smell it repeatedly like that, cant put my finger on the scent, lol

  • @cl04 lol, it is the weirdest smelling gel ever! yes, i think the conditioner helped soften up the hold a bit more than when i use it alone.
