@xfranchawax I am sure if that dude was taking steroids or not taking steroids he would probably still look better than most people. Steroids is not always a shortcut. You still have to bust youre ass in the gym. You still have to plan youre meals and eat perfect so don't knock the dude you think takes steroids! This is basic excellent nutritional advice, I eat like this year round, combined with a good workout schedule, this eating plan will get you ripped if your already lean & in good shape if your not, great post!

what i found works with a lot of my clients is implementing high reps burnouts of sets of 30 on ,major muscle groups. This kind of activity prevents the muscle atrophy of cardio
I can see why this would work. Its the thing I mess up the most. Its a HUGE motivation booster not only to see the difference in your body but to also be able to measure the difference and see the change in numbers as well. You can find a bunch of pretty cool calculators online if you google 'your fit assist'
@tom360063 maybe try eating a lot of starches and complex carbs and lots of eggs for breakfast. I'm not a nutritionist but I found that I pack on the pounds when I eat tons of mashed potatoes, hash browns, and rice and stuff like that with your proteins( I found beef ,hamburger steaks everythingworks the best for me). Also I bet in the next couple of years you will have no problem. I was the same way in 9 and 10th grade but in the summer of 10th grade i got big and strong ridiculously quick.

@tom360063 Just eat more. I also thought that I couldn't gain weight due to my metabolism, but it turned out I just didn't eat enough. I started working out and february and I have gained 11 pounds so far, still going strong!

Im 6"1 210 lbs and i do 100 of each situps and push ups and run/walk 2 miles every other day 4 days a week. i try to eat alot of chicken and fish some turkey but not much. 5 years ago i weighed 245 and dropped down to 180 now im slowly climbing back up and try to stop/reverse the weight again.
is there anything i can do to prevent size and strength loss while cutting? i did eat nothing but lean foods for about a month and saw a difference, but ended up losing some of my strength on the heavy sets and I would also get hungry not even halfway thru my workout.
I eat like this for 5 months alredy.... I train 5-6 houres a week... drink wather... sleep... But I still cant get my 6 pack... im really frustrated... could the reson be that im not getting enough calories... @SkinheadOiNS How much do you weigh? If your body feels starved, or if you overtraining your body might be stuck in a cycle of muscle wasting. 5 or 6 hours isnt a super lot but its getting up there. I weight train just under 3 hours a week and usually do a little surfing or kickboxing. My bodyfat sits at around 8% A lot of people make the mistake of eating to little (especially protein) and overtraining too.

@SkinheadOiNS You can't build muscles if you don't lie on a calorie surplus. In other words, you can't lose fat and gain muscles at the same time. You'll have to switch between them.
Good plan but eating that much Tuna (or any fish) for two whole days every week would put you well over what the FDA recommends for fish consumption due to current mercury levels (at least in ocean fish such as Tuna).

Im 14 and 6"3. I have a very high metabolism. In order to build muscle i need to gain weight, but due to my metabolism i can't. Any suggestions?

@tom360063 maybe try eating a lot of starches and complex carbs and lots of eggs for breakfast. I'm not a nutritionist but I found that I pack on the pounds when I eat tons of mashed potatoes, hash browns, and rice and stuff like that with your proteins( I found beef ,hamburger steaks everythingworks the best for me). Also I bet in the next couple of years you will have no problem. I was the same way in 9 and 10th grade but in the summer of 10th grade i got big and strong ridiculously quick.

@tom360063 no prob. Looking back on H.S. I think my diet was mostly lacking, make sure you eat lots and try not to let yourself go hungry, you're young so you can pretty much eat anything you want and not really have to worry about it; just make sure you eat enough.

@tom360063 Just eat more. I also thought that I couldn't gain weight due to my metabolism, but it turned out I just didn't eat enough. I started working out and february and I have gained 11 pounds so far, still going strong!

Any suggestions?
Im 6"1 210 lbs and i do 100 of each situps and push ups and run/walk 2 miles every other day 4 days a week. i try to eat alot of chicken and fish some turkey but not much. 5 years ago i weighed 245 and dropped down to 180 now im slowly climbing back up and try to stop/reverse the weight again.

is there anything i can do to prevent size and strength loss while cutting? i did eat nothing but lean foods for about a month and saw a difference, but ended up losing some of my strength on the heavy sets and I would also get hungry not even halfway thru my workout.

I eat like this for 5 months alredy.... I train 5-6 houres a week... drink wather... sleep... But I still cant get my 6 pack... im really frustrated... could the reson be that im not getting enough calories... Im suposed to eat around 3400 calories but i make it to 1800... eating 3000 calories would make me throw up... but every time i try eating more it seams like the next day im even fater... also could someone explain to me how can i know when i overtrained without stoping my training...?

@SkinheadOiNS How much do you weigh? If your body feels starved, or if you overtraining your body might be stuck in a cycle of muscle wasting. 5 or 6 hours isnt a super lot but its getting up there. I weight train just under 3 hours a week and usually do a little surfing or kickboxing. My bodyfat sits at around 8% A lot of people make the mistake of eating to little (especially protein) and overtraining too.

@ohara3762 I have 89 kg... thx hor the help... im shure that im eating enough protein but im not shure abouth the carbs... im somewhere around 13% bodyfat... I lost alloth of fat during the last 5 months but i feel like I just stoped losing it... one day i look in the miirror and im extra happy and than 3 days later im totaly unsetisfyed... maby im just tripping... any way sorry for the spelling.....

@SkinheadOiNS You can't build muscles if you don't lie on a calorie surplus. In other words, you can't lose fat and gain muscles at the same time. You'll have to switch between them.

Good plan but eating that much Tuna (or any fish) for two whole days every week would put you well over what the FDA recommends for fish consumption due to current mercury levels (at least in ocean fish such as Tuna).
