@95CDQ15 Thank you. I am probably guilty of the odd tempo change - and the dynamics are compromised by the recording process (which I have improved in the meantime)!
Good video Phillip, of course, there are a lot of opinions about the tempo on this piece. Someone like it slow, and someone alse like it slow. I definately think the tempo you are playing at, is the best. I think it should be that fast. Very well played! Thumbs up.
This in incredible! learning this piece now and just started on the 3rd movement, its still alittle sloppy but im working at it. Thanks for the Great video, keep up the good work!! :)
@magicaquageneral1997 I don't teach piano - you would need to have lessons with someone living near you. However for the counting, have a look at Musictheory[dot]net website. That explains time signatures and other basics of theory and I am sure you will find it helpful.
@magicaquageneral1997 Thank you - I'm glad you like it! It was certainly the tempo I played at, and thought appropriate for the piece - I did not speed the video up!
you seem to have a peaceful life without any concerns, just playing piano, i wish i end up like you, calm...survive the storm.excellent performance by the way !
This is the second piece I learned to play when I started piano. My teacher was convinced I was good while I thought I sucked, lol. Then I did this piece in a school concert... my passion for piano started then :) So much fun playing a fun and happy song!
Thank you for your interesting comment. This is wonderful music to play at any age or stage of learning piano! Re trills, I don't think very much about how I play them - but I do keep a very free wrist.
For myself, it brings back memories of hours at the piano in the Music Room and then I was called up into the R.N. Happy days nevertheless; well done. jannarta.

@ISMAEL9963 No es un difícil sonatina, pero plantea problemas de articulación y elegir el tempo correcto!

You sometimes lose your tempo (you suddenly go too fast) and to my opinion there is not enough constrast between pp - p - mf - f - ff, etc.
But I like your performance, it's great. :)

This song is easy, try out slowly first!!!!!!! The trills should be done only after you 'tense' your fingers' muscles (INTENTIONALLY)
wenkai31 1 year ago
I was also wondering, do u have any tips on how to get better at doing reeeally long trills? My fingers tend to "cramp" or stiffen quickly :(

I would suggest to slow it just a tiny little bit, however - it sounds excellent also in that tempo. Bravo!
