cant u just use imagemixer that came with the camcorder or does it ruin the quality cuz i use it and it saves all the clips as an mpeg

Yea, The camera is worth the buy. It's great quality for youtube.

I edit my videos in Sony Vegas, it's really easy. It accepts .MOD's.
