  • girl, ur right too. i dnt see what is so special here..its bills bills and more bills. in nigeria..man, no word is beautiful enough to describe my country. NAIJA 4 LIFE O.

  • me 2, i don't see what so great about america, i'm still waiting for the things the T.V in naija showed us about america. It's not fun at all. When i was in naij, i always wanted to come to america, and now that i'm hea, i'm counting down the days when i'll go back home. Like they say: There's no place like home.

  • Nobody is holding u down here. Take North American or Delta airlines and go back to ur country. Spare us ur misplaced nationalism

  • I wasn't even talking to you, so mind your fucking business, just cause i don't think america is so great, doesn't give u the right to insult me. And for one thing i ain't the only one who said something about america in this vid. So don't come hea and start telling me what the fuck to do. The only reason i'm still in america is because it's alot safer hea than it is in nigeria. period, if they fix it up in naija i'm gone trust me.

  • At least you see something good about America..It is better here than your country after all. By the way, while you are waiting for your country to be as safe as America, You should also go to school to learn how to write, your writing is atrocious! You ought to learn some social skills, the way you write shows you have lack social skills. How did u enter the US as a housegirl?

  • oh no you didn't? for one thing lady i'm not here as a housegirl, i'm only 17. And i do go to school, i'm an honor student and lady i get straight A's ok. I know how to write. I don't write in perfect english, if it's not for a grade. If i talk to a person like you i write like i want. ok

  • for an adult, you are so sophomoric.

  • Go and tell your mother to teach the manners required in public engagement...I wonder if her parental rights are still intact. You may also check with your dad, during that short moment when he is sober.

  • dats the most stupid and senseless thing ive ever heard and from ur name i can tell that ure a nigerian i dont think its a crime to miss home forgive me i forgot that ure not proud of ur country so i cant blame u but someday u will wish u are a nigerian cos everyday omo i go dey represent that country cos she has a lot of hope and we the children also blive in the word change . bury ur head in shame

  • They represent the country by mere words. What tangible thing have they done for the country? They don't pay taxes, they don't volunteer for anything of substance, they stay in the security provided by America and gladly proclaim their affiliation with Nigeria yet Nigeria has never benefited from them. What, please tell me, have u ever done to bring about CHANGE in Nigeria?! And keep your response civilized.

  • if you hate nigeria, so much. Then don't come back, abi leave the person alone. She/he misses his/her country just like i do. If you hate it then Leave don't return, abi. Are they begging you to return. Naija is Naija, no matter how bad that country is, ppl still rep to death. I'm proud i'm Nigerian, and As soon as i'm done getting my education in America(which i can do in naija, just decided to do it in america) but after i get my education, i'm going straight back to that country.

  • Sure, you could have stayed in Nigeria and get your education but you chose to come to the US! Now see who is preaching. You youngis need to stop and think about what you are saying. You love Nigeria, you will go back and help after your education in the US yet, you decided against studying medicine in Nigeria and help Nigerians while still in school. What is to say that you will ever return to contribute anything to that nation aside from sitting online and making empty claims?!

  • 1.) My parents dragged me to america.

2.) I thought of returning to Naija to study medicine, Naija medical school is better than America something i learned why researching about it.

3.) Naija medical school is more expensive than america and you Must Maintain a high grade or they kick u out(Something i learned why researching about it).

4.) Naija ppl don't know that naija medical skool is better than america but not better than europe.

  • Sorry my cousin still had a account logged in and i didn't know. So i kinda used hers.

    N-way

5.) Those that study aboard tends to get more jobs than those that didn't.

4.) Don't you ever insult me by saying i'm not going back. I am going back. I'M NOT LIKE YOU. And i'm going to help as many as i can, that's my driving force in the medical education. No matter how hard it gets, I am going to be a doctor and I AM going back.

  • Insult you? Why, I have sucks older than you! You are not like me? Thank God for that. What you are planing to do, what you may never do, I have done. I have contributed to Nigeria in tangible ways than you can imagine. I don't deal in mere words, I deal in action. When you are ready to contribute to Nigeria, lets discuss again.

Meanwhile, let me give you this advise, learn to present your argument in a rational manner, learn to argue without emotion and be objective.Good luck to u.

  • This is a laugh! Naija medical school is better than America? What research did you do? You touch the air with your wet finger? You must maintain a high grade or they kick u out? You must mean you must buy handouts or they kick you out! Tell me this, how come naija trained doctors are having problems passing the licensing exams in the US? How come your politicians would rather be treated outside naija than risk their lives at the hands of naija trained docs? And how come naija docs can treat?

  • It's been a Goddamn month since i wrote that and your blackass is still talking about it. Abeg, shit i've even forgetting that i wrote that.

Just STU already and nexttime use reply in my account. I told you i used my cousin account by accident. So nexttime use mine.(If you going to yell at someone, yell at the right person).

  • What is the point of discussing with you? What are you talking about? What is the meaning of God**** or Sh**? You talk about schools when the discussions are centered on professional education. Yell? This is the last time I respond to anything you post, you have really shown your true level of discretion, education, home training, emotion and maturity.

  • And i did research it. Ended up finding i was wrong. But your wrong to. According to stastics USA schools are Below average. Some USA schools are Above Average though. Schools in Canada and Eastern Europe are Above average. Schools in UK is Average and some schools in Nigeria is Average and Below Average.

  • P.S: My friend dad did his study in Nigeria and wen he came to America he passed his licensing exams in his first try. (Just because you studied in Africa doesn't mean you can pass a licensing exam). They teach the same thing. (If your dumb, your just dumb, it doesn't have anything to do where you sudy at). What about those kids that studied in US but they still can't pass that exam.

  • But i do apologize for my old comments. After reeading it. I did kinda used an attitude in my posts and i apologize for it.

  • I don't blame you. I get mad when i see a nigerian doctor or lawyer in america. I get mad about that. I mean there are health problems in naija. The doctors, they go Aboard get the medical education and come back and help, at least lets save that country even without our government's help , but No, they don't want to help, just because they won't make that much money. As for me, when i get my doctors degree, I'm going to Naija to help as many as i could even if i don't make money from it.

  • sorry, the last comment didn't come out asi would have liked.

I meant, they go aboard and get the education, instead of going back and help save those that need it. they refuse because they won't make as much as those in america.

  • Sure, it is easy to show emotion, the difficult thing is to allow your emotion to lead you to some tangible action to help. Like I asked the 21 yr-old who feels she is more a Nigerian than others: What have you people EVER done for that country? You refused to even stay in Nigeria to study. Incidentally, adedayoatun has not answered my question, which leads me to believe that just like u, she is just mouthing off and allowing her emotion to take the better part of her. It is easy to mouth off.

  • My good friend, you have a lot of credible arguments. Can you please suggest what Nigerians overseas should do? I am not being cynical, but I am really interested in seeing your perspective.

  • Darzkin, first of all, let Nigerians abroad help their family back home. Send money for serious endeavors like education and or skills acquisition. Going to live in Nigeria for most people in the West is a pipe dream, have a presence in Nigeria, buy or build a small house and visit as frequently as possible. Be security minded at all times. Buy stocks in promising corporations, not banks, these may collapse anytime. Buy manufacturing, mostly what people need in their daily lives. Good luck.

  • I appreciate your insightul response. Personally, I believe profoundly that Nigeria is in need of a paradaigm shift; we need a new way of thinking about business and government practices. Single handed battles are inefficient, but imagine a collaborated effort by stakeholders in the private and government sector, the achievement level would be limitless.

  • We are not ready for paradaigm shift. These stakeholders you talk about got (stole?) their money from the government purse and they will take more if given the chance. Very few businesses would survive in Nigeria without government input. Most banks rely on public fund deposits to shore up their accounts. How do you expect business to survive in a situation where the cost of loans is oppressive, energy cost is beyond reach, security is nonexistence and infrastructure has completely decayed.

  • I am impressed with how America's governmental processes works, so effectively and efficiently. Interestingly, it functions through an integrated system including, nonprofits, private firms, think thanks and international organizations. The aforesaid set-up, is solely done to align all stakeholders with the objective and purpose of America. This is something that Nigeria is lacking, good governance practice with define objectives, in my view.

  • Well, America has been at it for a while. They have built their institutions and every now and then they have need to adjust these institutions without causing any structural changes. Nigeria, no matter how we may feel about her present status, is still in the process of creating a political structure. We recently moved from having hooligans in uniform take power without a shred of concern for the citizens wishes. We are merely 47 years old and in the life of a country, that is rather young.

  • @proudnijagirl once you get over the big houses and shopping there isnt much else lol! cultureless its all about buying stuff and superficial things.. great place to visit but i wouldnt want to live there..

  • Nice song, takes me back home! Naija forever!!!

  • Nigerians, i say to you:Make all the money you need to make in the west and then GO HOME.We gotta build Naija

  • i love this....i really wanna go back home!

  • I really like this video...make me wanna go back to naija.Nice production!
