Just when I hear something from Schnauss that really catches my ear and attention, and think nothing could be better, I'm happily proven wrong time and time again. This is simply beautiful music.
Since only hearing of Ulrich Schnauss's Goodbye, I thought what a happy go lucky tune and now I'm a truly converted fan of his music. All I can say is beautiful & eclectic. Definitely takes you places in all kinds of moods. Thanks Uploader.
I"m writing in my journal whilst listening - the journal features the writings of Sufi poet Rumi. Here's today's poem: "Days full of wanting. Let them go by wihout worrying that they do. Stay where you are inside such a pure, hollow note." If Rumi were alive today, he'd be an Ulrich Schnauss fan.
Oh, I am falling ... falling ... into that sweet space where life and beauty converge, my heart is full of love and my soul is comforted. That's what Ulrich Schnauss's music does for me.
Such beautiful and other world music. There is some kind message encoded in the video: space, spaceships and I can recognize grey alien. I wondering what it is about, also what Einfield means?
Spiralogy: We protect ourselves subjectively with our belief systems, objectively with our ability to forge relationships with others, and definitively with our ability to pick up a stick and beat the crap out of something if necessary. Maybe it's not real, but it's better than nothing.
Awesomely deep, inventive and completely original. You know that time honoured question where someone asks - why are we here? well, one of the reasons is to enjoy this.
control, through space, and most importantly, through our own respective consciousnesses. There are no answers, just questions. This video, to me, illustrates everything that has puzzled me since I was old enough to think. The shot at 1:50 of the explosion, and the dazed look on the face of this man is profound enough within itself. But yeah, sorry for the ridiculously long comment. Thanks for posting. Maybe one day it'll all make sense.
First off, I just want to say that I absolutely love this song. More than that even, I think this video and this song are the two most compatible things in this universe. This song makes me feel like a baby, but more importantly, it reminds me that we are all babies, in the cosmological scheme of things. We're all wanting someone to protect us, someone to save us, as a whole, as humanity. But no such defender exists, and we are left to ponder our meek, transitory existences, spiraling out of
I guess we all have an innate desire to feel important... as if there were some kind of objective meaning to our human lives. We want to feel protected against all of the absurdities of existence. But there is nothing to actually protect us. It's hard to reconcile this view with how cold, callous and indifferent the universe actually is. And for some reason, this song and video illustrate that. To me, at least.
You seem like maybe a gentle, kind, type person, but I feel bad. I'm not gonna preach to ya, but let me just say this, "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this, the judgement. This is from the Bible. A source that rightnow in your life you don't care for or believe in. Jesus said, today if you here his voice, harden not your heart. Ok, so I preached a little, sorry. Take care man, and I hope one day you see that we actually do have a protector. He is a prayer away. Peace
@turtleyto Thanks for your support. In lieu of a rebuttal, let me just respond simply: We have both spent our entire lives solidifying our respective beliefs. Neither a well-written paragraph or a well-written book will change that for either of us.
The change comes directly from inside of you, your self. Ego made God and right and wrong up. All this time the truth has been inside of ourselves, we just were and are too afraid of looking there because of our ego which restricts us from doing it. Instead we try to find solution from the outside, which is mostly a product of our imagination and ego since we mostly see things that we want to, and when we see something "wrong", our defenses start working for the ego, not the self.
There's no right nor wrong, true morality is not learned, it is achieved through self-exploration which may be done in various ways, but I'd stick with the traditional practices.
"Now I know where the Self is. It's in our own minds. It's a form of human energy. Our atoms are six billion years old. We've got six billion years of memory in our minds."
You think it would be time to look into ourselves? We've got everything in us, our very soul is a mirror image of this magnificent universe.
@Spiralogy But it's not only the human race at all. You also can mirror it to our own, individual life. Everyone of us grew up with the thoughts to be very special but most of us never reach any fame. To find peace and happiness with what you get in life even if it is less than most of us have is the most important task to every human being but can be the most wonderful thing if you reach it! And while i'm on my way to reach that goal Ulrich Schnauss music is the best what i can take with me.
How many hearts have been broken to Ulrichs music? come to think of it, how many people have fallen in love to his music? i know i'm guilty of both crimes. I sure am glad to have come accross this, in a sea of music Mr Schnauss is a life boy
I didn't realise I had so many thumbs up for my comment above, I only noticed because you have commented. Its so nice to see that we are not alone, thanks for the comment. Peace
@WmJoseSinclair I can't speak for Philly, but I know that when I read his or her comment I took it as hearts break to his music because it's so heartbreakingly beautiful. Something about it can fill you with so much emotion that your metaphorical heart aches. But I'm only speaking for myself. Perhaps Philly puts this music on when he or she is about to break up with someone. Or perhaps Philly suggests this is music you'd turn to after your heart is broken?
i really want to know the lyrics to this song. im pretty sure the vocal sings 'jesus' at one point which is awesome if it is, but ive no idea of where i can find out.
I want to know too. I can make out certain words, and I think you might be right. I've looked everywhere to try to find what he says, but I have no idea.
This is my fav from Ulrich! :))

Music like this doesn't even need added imagery, it conjures its own. However, this video superbly rises to the task and does it justice.
